I guess what the author wanna portray is uke is capable but gets flustered in front of hajun only? Can I brainwash myself that this is his character setting? Plus he seldom use the honey trap plans for his other missions and this is the first time he is with a guy, and also a bottom, so it's like a whole new world. I can understand we are all human and we get wavered at times during our work. Cause or else I can't get over the fact that he is an SS agent if he acts like this all the time on other missions.
This is so freaking good?!!!!! The best thing ever. I cried so much omggggg. I can't.

And I am so sad that Ziming need to sell his mother's house all because of that stupid old man?!!! I need more chapters to see him buy the house back and see June go back up again! But also with a smaller June, the couple will have more time together. Hopefully that's the upside.
Kang Moo is a psychopath, that's true. He doesn't have emotions and empathy. But he have a moral compass. If he doesn't care about morals he can just pick someone from the streets, plan for a few months and murder them. And he can do it again and again with the intellect he have.
The reason why Kang Moo will always choose Kirin is because Kirin restrains him. He would not want the profiler because the profiler encourages him to commit crime. Example, its like a person who is born to like to smoking. He knows he shouldn't smoke because it harms his health but he can't help smoking. So kirin is like his fake nicotine candy. It is not as nice as smoking, but it works well enough. He might not love the candy, but it is very important to his survival. And he needs to keep that candy happy and alive by his side. It is obsessive, possessive and over protectiveness. But everyone cherish their partners differently, so it might be the closest kind of "love" kang moo can ever experience in his life. It is like a feeling you towards a one of a kind ventilator in this world to keep you alive. You wouldn't want to lose that.
On kirin's side. I don't know if its true but from my observations he have signs of depression from the beginning of the story. He feels powerless towards the injustice of the society. And he is probably suicidal, as he is kind of willing to die and also be humiliated to seek justice for his sister. His relationship with his parents are not close as well, as implied in his earlier chapters. He probably crave a kind of relationship where he is viewed as essential for survival since he doesn't have much close relationships and his only dependent, his sister, died. I think this craving for attention, plus his gratitude and admiration, for Kang Woo doing all these for him turns slowly into love. It is also implied he is very fascinated with how Kang Moo's brain function, so that curiosity adds to that. That's why he is not afraid of death by Kang Moo's hands. That's why I think, although twisted both of them are destined together.
I need to say, I read this novel and silent lover novel. This is much better than silent lover, and the seme's toxicity actually make sense, due to some misunderstandings I am not gonna spoil, event tho his current actions are wrong. Silent lover's seme is just mean and toxic for no reason imo. I would recommend sticking to this than silent lover.
I just binged this story in one go and I would say I love all the characters with all their flaws. One thing I don't understand is at one point everyone started to hate minki? Because of the last thing he said to wonho?
What he did was really realistic imo.
If someone being extremely possessive, but at the same time keeps on going on and off as he likes, then keeps on begging me to forgive them everytime I want to breakup wants to see me again I would never ever want to show my face in front of them ever again after the last straw.
I might be concern over their wellbeing. But my mental health comes first. I would rather someone else take care of the ex partner than myself, because once I let my guard down. I might fall back into the relationship again.
And also lastly, totally understood why wonho did the things he did and he is also a victim of circumstance. Glad he is happy with eunwoo. But hating on minki is just a bit weird?
I've read this story up to chap 34 end of season 1. The author indicated there will be 3 seasons for this.
I would say the first read I was a bit put off, but when I read the dialog more closely the 2nd time I feel like there's potential for the 2nd season. The 1st season feels like a built up and there's so many mysteries to be unraveled. This and paralleled with how the thriller plot draws inspirations from Buddhist/taoist elements is something rare.
Can I know what's the chapter where yeon woo is first introduced?? I don't recall seeing him before this... Maybe I read too fast
I actually don't remember when he first appeared but remember when Taehwan finalllywent home so Dojin and Taehee becomes too careful when they do it but stil they slip cause they were caught by this guy. I don't know if I explained it well so here's the chap but I repeat it is not the first time he appeared but you'll probably recognized him more on this chap
