Although it's obvious the second ml is an obsessive psycho I also think that fl didn't set the boundaries well. She knew he liked her a lot yet she stayed with him when he was drunk , gave him the passcode to her house and unintentionally led him on. Ig since he was the only man around her he thought eventually she would be his.
Although fl seems unbothered by him and even went as far as choosing a perfect future wife Candidate for second ml, she definitely didn't set those boundaries well.

She did. She’s told him several times that she’s never going to date him or be interested in him. The only reason she even tolerates his presence in her life is because of his mother who the FL used (rightfully) to pull herself out of poverty. The dude is aware of this but he’s too far gone to realize how pathetic this makes him seem. Even if she hadn’t said anything explicitly, him becoming obsessed and delusional is his own problem that he created himself in his own mind. The FL never had a hand in it nor did she ever encourage him in any way.
Did you skip some chapters or what? There was explained why she can't refuse his childish ploys. His family was gave her scholarship to study in university, and supported her when her mother was hospitalized, and even now she is working for his family's company.

She obviously did feel like she owed him smtg yes but she's working for his mom who clearly would be happy if the two stopped interacting together that much. You CAN'T tell me that telling ur obvious crush ur houses passcode and not kicking him out after he just let him self in is setting proper boundaries. It seemed liked hed done it many times and she just let it go when he said " this is the only place I feel home " or smtg. He's delusional and her unbothered behaviour is a way did entertain it

But indirectly she always entertained him when he whined. She doesn't even consider him a friend but she tolerated it when he whined and came to her and wanted to drink. She gave him her house passcode and didn't have a strong reaction when he just let himself in without permission. She just let it go when he said " this is the only place I feel home" or smtg. He seemed like he was constantly getting away with doing shit like this cause she's so unbothered by him and just tolerates him. He's too delusional to see that tho.
Even during the dinner with his mom he pretends they spent the night together and she says " I hate it when he does this" or smtg which means he constantly puts her in uncomfortable situations like that but she does nothing to change it. I interpreted it as the mother instructed her to be his friend so that’s why she has to tolerate that stuff. I don’t know all her motives for instructing her to be his friend, but it seems clear that that’s what happened. If she didn’t want the FL to have any relationship with him then she would’ve made that happen instead, she has all the power.
This story would be a 10/10 for me if dan never forgave him and dumped his ass but that's not gonna happen
