well, theres a difference between reading things illegally (because im broke lmao) and translating illegally AND shitting on the author + disrespecting the work itself by claiming your version is "better". the amount of shamelessness in these actions is what makes them so insufferable to me. at least i know my place as an illegal reader and i like to think i'll eventually get the chance to support the authors i enjoy when i have the chance.
