I think im always gonna be rooting for shushu and the dukes family because thats the kind of love she deserves rn... Being with the royal family even if the misunderstandings are resolved wouldn't erase the fact of what shushu had to go thru because of them and i feel like she would have a hard time accepting and giving love to those people even if they truly love her now
Thats why its better for her to be with the dukes because in the first place, theyre the ones who showed unconditional love and constantly reassured her that she wont have to be hurt ever again because of family
