How long are we gonna keep acting like Dan is this soft little bird who needs saving ? Jaekyung isn’t good in anyway shape or form but let’s not completely blame JK for all of dans problems. I keep seeing people saying Jk needs character development. SO DOES DAN . He’s so self destructive. Even before Jk he had a drinking problem the hear break just made it worse .
Both of them are self destructive in their own ways but at some point we need to stop acting like Dan isn’t also a grown man making his own decisions. He’s not a child he knows what right and wrong too.
very true very true… even w the obvious power dynamic i wish Dan would grow a back bone. Granted i know he’s going thru a super hard time, it’s no excuse to accept this treatment or waste away your health… i love Dan but I hope everyone starts changing soon.
I agree that they both need character developement, the problem is tho that Dan at least experienced that a little by going from doormat over runaway being fedup with shit to mentally exhausted. He basically has 300% more character developement than JJ. And at this point I do not think Mingwa will bother actually giving JJ any. I'd almost bet on the story going the usual 'magically loving each other after having a sob moment and getting fucked again'.
I don't like how this all progressed but Dan himself is written realistically in terms of how he changed. So I actually think he's good on that front for a while. Unlike JJ. Geezus does that dude need a character dev arc.

That's why i hoped we'd get to see him break down after an injury and have revealed why he even became like this (shitty parents who push him, trauma that changed him to only care for himself, etc.).
