Am I the Daughter?
Bad translation could have ruined this but thankfully it didn't. Story was okay, not a lot of weight was felt when reading about the emperor kilking everyone off (felt like the Callistos' could have done something sooner) but yeah. Was a story. Art was good, characters were meh I with there had been more substance. Haylin was....annoying a lot but she was super kind so I can get her personality a bit, still annoyed me tho. 7.5/10 will probably not read again tho.
My Family is Obsessed with Me
I enjoyed this story. It's nice to see the fl get what she really needed and deserved after going through all the hardship she had gone through. I'm also glad that "God" was not just a plot device but was explained to be a guiding figure rather than an almighty being, that's a nice twist from the usual story. I liked the character growth, and the fact that the trauma of fl was mentioned but could have been more in depth-ly done, like I know she was abused since she said she was, but it didn't say how and to what extent until she met her abuser again so it took away from her trying to get through her grief and anger and trauma. Could have been better executed. Her love for Riel was interesting, since it started with his face but was also his personality and her wanting to be around him, not necessarily "fixing" him so to say so I'll leave my opinion at that. 8/10 maybe read again.
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
Beautiful art, beautiful story, great ending and all around wonderful and re-readable. I enjoyed this a lot and didn't know it was so close to completion after chapter 100 (I stopped reading because I wanted to wait till it finished around that chapter but it only took another half year to finish). Very good 10/10 would read again and also recommend.
I loved the riveralry of Alpheus and Lucas when it came to Athy. I loved the development both she and her dad had to go through and I loved how the story ended with an unknown love ending since it was a story about family rather than one about romance. Great :)
The Admiral's Monster Wife
Very pretty. The story was a little messy and I didn't like some of the characters since they felt so one dimensional but not bad overall. Didn't like that the action scenes didn't have anything in them, like the artist didn't know how to make action scenes so they just did a couple of expressions and then that was it. I liked that there was some build up to the discovery of the FL mothers origins but what about her father??? So confused about that. The story really did focus on FL the most, felt a bit bad about Dame Reint and also what a weird thing to have Alex do. The guidance of the goddesses made the story seem like the hardships the characters did were for naught but meh. Overall 7.5/10 will probably not reason again.
Kill the Villainess
Twas alright. I remember reading this up to almost the last chapter since it wasn't out yet and thinking, why....is going back the only option for her? After reading it again with this ending, I think it's because she was stubborn, smart and wanted what she wanted because she had never voiced that opinion before. Honestly she annoyed me since she was stupid in some parts which caused her trauma and much anxiety, so I can't say I told you so without feeling a little guilty about it since she definitely paid the price. Overall story was alright (again, annoyed me a bit but now I understand it), art was phenomenal and feels were on point. Probably won't read again tho so 8/10.
The Hero is Standing in my Way
Wow short and sweet, I thought this would have a lot more going on but honestly wasn't bad. I would say story wise 7/10 it was okay, and made sense by the end but still was cliché and predictable. I liked that the fl was actually good at sports and could use that to her advantage. It seemed like the author forgot for a while but I'm glad it came back into play before the end. Overall rating is about 7/10 would probably not read again tho.
Please have a meal
I thoroughly enjoyed this manwha, it was so fun and the food looked so good. The characters were fantastic and I rarely found people annoying or without context. I liked the translation for the most part and I liked that the ending clearly had a direction but not a finale that you'd expect (though, makes total sense when you think of the characters). Awesome story, great illustrations, lovable characters and plausible endings this had it all. 10/10!
