So I have a question regarding CH 5.5 because I tend to take some things seriously or just seriously confused:
Is the uke still working as a sex worker? If not, why did he say he’s gonna find another client? I thought they’re dating, who says that to their partner Bruhh but I get that it’s passed off as comedy
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Oh lol I was answered in CH 8.
UKE says: “Speaking of which, there was that one time Ryouhei came home reeking of women’s perfume. Well, at that time we were only in a client-prostitute relationship.”
I guess I was confused because usually extras at the end of a chapter are linked to the main chapter it’s in.

Holy shit I hope the author is going down a throuple route. Basically, it looks like Myungtae and Shinjoo have some tension between them in a good way.
Myungtae made food and Shinjoo was about to eat, meanwhile Kyesoo was coming down and saw the food. He asked who made it and thought it looked delicious.
Shinjoo said Myungtae made it, then said:
“Isn’t he such a good boy?”
Kyesoo froze as if he heard strange words from Shinjoo. And Myungtae froze as well, glancing back awkwardly. Then Shinjoo had “…” in his dialogue.
Later they went to Jeju island, all three and took pics. Shinjoo went to Myungtae, he placed his hand on Myungtae’s shoulder as he said: “Myungtae, are you feeling a little better?”
—Not sure what happened for Shinjoo to be concerned about Myungtae. But afterwards, Myungtae froze when Shinjoo placed his hand on his shoulder. And he took Shinjoo’s hand off his shoulder and turned away, abruptly walking off after telling Shinjoo:
“You must be tired, I’ll drive…hyung.” HYUNG. This word stuck out to Shinjoo and he was in a daze.
At the end of the chapter, the panel said:
“Fact that Shinjoo is aware of #1: Myungtae will call someone ‘Hyung’ as soon as they pass the acquaintances stage.”
Holy fuck. I really hope this means it’s ending in a throuple route. Cause the tension and chemistry they have is top tier. Both of them like Kyesoo, about time they like each other to unlock throuple ending.

I think that many readers of WS fandom do not care about Ian, not the slightest. I’ve seen way too many of them blaming Ian and disregarding the trauma and other stuff he went through, acting like he deserves to feel guilty and someone even said: Have you ever thought that Ian might not want to be freed?
Seeing over hundreds of likes on that. It just makes me think, yeah, my fear that little people care for Ian might be true. And the thousands of likes on another post where one blamed Ian. Fuck.
Like girl drop your damn phone and go outside. The synopsis in many platforms already states how much Ian wants to free himself from what cause him distress, he wants to build a career that he dreams of, and so much more the word has to offer besides gang.
He is not delusional or making himself delusional by wanting a normal life. Stop twisting his words and trying to fit him with your ship. Literally I could care less about the other male leads if you asked me, I’m staying for Ian.
Legit, I feel that little people care about Ian or a quarter of the fandom. Maybe it’s just because I’ve seen too much of the bad side that I feel this way.

What’s up with people breaking up cause you overhear your partner wants kids. Do they never think of adoption? Does it have to be biological?
Today’s time and place has little to no relevance to them being unable to adopt, unless there’s a law preventing. And before anyone comes at me about Japan possibly not allowing gay couples to adopt, fiction can make it happen. Let’s be serious here.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
No shit. But people break up over these in reality ans well. Exactly, because it’s fiction, why is it so hard to consider adoption? Why is this a common trope? Yeah it’s just to add some angst, but it can be tiring. Sucks that someone had to be hurt/in pain all because the other couldn’t communicate and broke it off.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Anyways, don’t take my comment so seriously, I’m just expressing myself along with some rhetoric questions. I am aware this is in Japan, we are all literate here, I hope.
Some people just want to see more of adopted kids in stories, and that’s perfectly fine. I do not hate this story, it’s cliche but satisfying read besides some stuff.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Nonetheless, I appreciate your input. What you said makes sense, it is fiction so of course people will follow the common trope of misunderstandings. It just won’t prevent authors from having a couple adopt a kid or taking that into consideration, is one of my point. So I do hope to see stories with these in it.
Anyone who comes across this comment is free to recommend me some stories with a gay couple who adopts a kid.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Yeah no worries, I get what you’re saying.
Can’t a reader express themselves? And Japan doesn’t have a law that prevents gay couple from adopting, there have been cases of gay couples adopting in fact (and based off friends in Japan). But I know it isn’t widely accepted and seen as disgusting in society of Japan.
That’s why, since it’s fiction, might as well consider adoption and let go of the common cliche tropes!
I’m just expressing how I feel, I’m not forcing anyone to think like me or forcing the author to change it.
Just hoping there would be a different approach in future stories! ^^
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Oh and to be clear about the law, I’m not saying that gay people can freely adopt. No, not in all parts of Japan, but in some regions of Japan they can. But iirc, I don’t think Japan allows gay marriage so they can’t be recognized as legal guardians of an adopted kid, that’s the issue.
But since it’s fiction, why not?
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f4/u511534_50x50.jpg?2)
I get the point you are trying to make. One reason you aren't seeing more adoption as an option in stories like this be it hetero or gay romance is not just laws prohibiting gay people from adopting but CULTURE and NOT JUST Japanese culture but Asian in general be it Korean etc. etc. Adopted kids are commonly viewed as “someone’s else's kid” or “not their real kid” Even if adoption is clearly an option they wont even consider it! It’s Blood relation over everything - they are taught this, and even then in the case of adopting a nephew or cousin whose parents have passed away they are still seen as “taking care of someone else's kid” or adopting them so other people dont look at them “badly” for not wanting to take them in the first place when they come from outside that particular family’s household. While ALL aren't like this - it’s STILL VERY common. So authors don’t commonly address it or even make it a reality in their fictional stories because a lot of them don’t even think like that. It’s backward and not up to date considering adoption is literally an OLD and VERY COMMON alternative to just being childless when you want children in a relationship but it is still a thing for them in these countries of slow “SOCIAL PROGRESSION” like japan. Its unfortunate because like you, I also think the same thing, just adopt especially since gay people literally adopt each other in japan to get on each other’s “family registry” - they can adopt a child as well into the family registry but on paper mostly as a brother or sister etc and not as two same sex parents, it’s tricky for gay couples to navigate this topic in japan unfortunately.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
You make a good, no, great point. I’m Asian myself and my own parents say biological children are more special, it’s sad. But since it’s fiction, I hope to see more of mangakas considering adoption. I don’t think all Asians think this way, especially if you’re 1st generation or younger. A lot of things that are cultural in reality are broken in fiction by Japanese authors, as well as stereotypes, so I don’t understand the adoption issue.
I am only hoping for it to be more occurrent. There’s a lot of manga authors that write stuff that aren’t accepted in culture, so this shouldn’t draw a line at adoption. I understand that many authors do not hold a mindset for that to happen.
Lolz don’t remind me about the partner adopting their partner just to be seen as family, that’s fucked up shit. I haven’t seen this happen in Japan, but I know someone that went through it, they didn’t make it through since their family were about to cut them off and telling them to just live as they don’t know them.
I know there are some mangas that already have adopted kid and stuff, but I hope there’s more I haven’t read and more in future. I enjoy those stories a lot, and usually they aren’t fucked up. I’m someone who reads Harada’s stories and others, but time to time I need fluffy or almost any story with adoption involved.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f4/u511534_50x50.jpg?2)
If you’re reading Harada then yes you need to reset that mind and SOUL with some fluff. That mangaka’s stories are good but hard on the heart imo lol. Im not Asian but i’ve lived in Asia - japan and korea with long stays in Cambodia for visiting family, dated Asians(thankfully I have been welcomed-in by their families), and have asian family members married in so more extended members of my family so i’ve seen this mindset up close, and its unfortunate. Your point of “its fiction” is very true and valid, if you’re writing the story then you can create the world were adoption is normal, accessible option for ANY type of couple…they just need to think bigger and further really plus it makes for a better story imo. All children are special when they are happy healthy and not cruel (like the bullying kind). Biological has nothing to do with that. That made me sad to read but like you said that touched on my point unfortunately
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Actually my parents don’t mind adopting, but they think biological is superior. My mom wants to foster if she could, but fucked up part is that she told me she can earn money while fostering—it feels weird idk.
And she told me that if she would adopt a baby forever, it would only be a girl (she got sick of boy children, she and my brothers argue a lot. She talks about how they can rely on us, two sisters. But she never realizes it’s the way she and dad raised my brothers; making them grow entitled and bratty while girls do chores).
Yup, Harada’s stories are just fucked up and weird as hell, but I do enjoy reading at times.
This is why I tend to read Harada’s stories, I feel like Ican just let everything negative out, like morally wrong thoughts.
But I definitely need fluffy. I read Life Senjou No Bokura, I ended up crying, I got tricked. If you haven’t read it, please do. That shit is so nice, just the godly amount of angst and forever eternal love. I need someone else to cry.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/f4/u511534_50x50.jpg?2)
“she can earn money while fostering” this part is not uncommon in America where i’m from. Its common for people to foster children for money and it’s not a completely bad thing BUT you have to treat them well and care for them and not neglect or abuse them in any way, that might of sounded crazy coming from your mom but she treats them well then its okay. Unfortunately a lot of people like the money but dont care about the children they are technically responsible for. So foster families can be unhealthy, dangerous, and horrible while some are good. I have adopted family members and they aren't treated or referred to differently at all not even grouped as “adopted” they are just family and thats it. But thats also the way my culture (AA) generally is - whether you are adopted, step, half, third cousin once removed (lol) you’re simply family thats it thats all no “superior” no “less than” - just family. I’ve read Life Senjou No Bokura and its one of my favorites and the first I ever gave a 5 star rating for and the first to ACTUALLY make me teary. So well written! I’ve reread it twice. It gets me every time - it tricks you but in a good way. If you aren’t reading “our sunny days” do yourself a favor and RUN to it. Green flags and fluff all the way season 2 just started but season 1 is everything (●'◡'●)

So I’ve been wanting to read this but holding it off for a while. Before I read, I want to know:
1. Does the seme or ukes sleep with anyone else?
2. Love triangle or love rivals?
3. Jealousy/groveling, if so, how much and who is groveling / jealous?
4. How is this story psychological?
5. How is this well written?
6. How toxic is the ML? Like what does he do that is toxic, or says (besides rape).
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b5/u687483_50x50.jpg?2)
1. Not for uke, and seme tried to but not. He just want to make sure if he really see uke and not his first love, bcs his first love is blonde, basically have a similarity to uke, like his hair and his mole. So he tried to sleep with another blonde, but never do it bcs he always think back about uke.
2. For uke he have a old friend thats seem to like him, but never manage to make uke to love him back, one sided love. And for seme is his first love, he was obsessed with him, the problem is that first love is only an illusion he make, basically not a real person, thats why he always search someone irl who looks like his first love.
3. Both are jealous with each other. Seme jealous of uke old friends. Uke jealous or more feels like betrayed because seme seems to using him for substitute of his imaginary first love.
4. Both have a family problem thats make them broken. So they use their relationship to save and comfort each others pain. There's where's the toxic began. Mostly because the seme obsession of his first love.
5. At chap >50, its really broke my heart but after some time they manage to solve the problem, and trying to starting their relationship from zero again. This story really can picture emotional and mental health well. Despite everything the way they get the power from each other to overcome their pain is amazing.
6. I don't remember theres any rape here, but well, the others reader tend to say that when the others say stop/no and he keep on going is basically the same. But for me, even though the seme a bit forceful in that matters the uke still endup allowing the seme, so its consensual for me not rape.
And like i said before, the things that make it toxic is because both of them have family problem, and for seme that problem make him create an illusion world where he can make a world he want and theres when he meets his first love that help him survive and obsessed with that. When uke know about that illusion things, thats make him remember how a cults make his family crumble beyond saving, and that make him more traumatized.
Thats it. ╥﹏╥
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Thank you so much for explaining! Could you clarify what you mean by: “the problem is that first love is only an illusion he make, basically not a real person, thats why he always search someone irl who looks like his first love.“
So SEME’s first love isn’t real? Is his first love Uke but didn’t realize? Why is he so obsessed with blonde first love? When does SEME realize this is wrong or he’s treating Uke wrong?
Does Uke stand up for himself and leave SEME? And he comes back again?
“basically have a similarity to uke, like his hair and his mole”— So the person in SEME’s imagination has similar features that Uke has?
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b5/u687483_50x50.jpg?2)
Yeah his first love wasn't real, have u seen a kdrama "its okay that love"? There's D.O from exo, and he act as the illusion the ML make from suffering of his childhood trauma. Its basically the same with this one. Its just something the subconscious make in response to protect oneself from a something like trauma.
No he's first love wasn't uke, thats first love starting from his childhood till he's an adult. And then later he meet uke who looks and remind him of his first love. Basically his first love is someone so important for him, like everything he has in his empty and lonely world. The only light who can make him keep on survive.
He never thinks thats is wrong despite his surroundings treat him like a freak for that. But when he realized that he really love uke for himself not as substitute that when he trying to change himself. Because now uke truly replaces his first love position as the most important person in Seme's life.
Yeah he is. His live is also not easy because of his family problem and his hardworking to achieve his dream even though his talent is underestimated by many people, so he know the time to stand for himself and cut people off for his own mental health. But ofc he comeback, they will have a happy end despite all the struggles and drama.
Yeah, the uke and seme first love is similar. Thats way seme reaching out to uke.
Yeah later after uke know thats seme first love has a blode hair and even same position mole at his face, he decided to change his hair color.
At first seme say something that will hurt uke feelings, but later after uke gone he begin to realize his own feelings.
Honestly he already love uke as himself and not as substitute from the beginning they becoming official, but because seme afraid that he will lose his precious memory's that slowly forget about his first love he begin to push uke away and trying so hard to denying that he really loves uke. So the development got dragged until chapter >50 for seme to really move on and choose uke.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
Honestly I appreciate the detailed spoilers. Appreciate so much. I really love spoilers before reading as long as the ending isn’t specifically described.
I just don’t think his first love was real cause it wasn’t a real person and because it stems from his trauma , I’m not sure how to say it but yeah. So how does SEME describe his first love besides physical appearance? Is it a guy or girl first love, is SEME gay or bi?
But here I’ll believe that his first love was his imaginary person. It makes sense he’d fall for someone who was his only in his little world (head).
Of course it’s the hurt first and then realize you love them later, haha .
Wait so they dated officially and Seme pushed him away during the relationship? Yeah it does sound toxic and most likely is as you described.
So does SEME still remember his imaginary first love? Or he moves on completely? I assume it wouldn’t be easy because that’s what he used to cope.
I wonder who the title refers to. A world without you. Who’s You? SEME’s imaginary first love or MC? Maybe both.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/b5/u687483_50x50.jpg?2)
The titles refers to both in my opinion, bcs theres time when seme goes panic when he cant remember correctly about his first love, he feel like he lose the most important things in his live.
And then he felt the same way when he lost uke, he lost all reason to live again like when he lose his first love.
So yeah its basically described seme world when he lose the person he love the most.
Anyway you just need to read this manhwa, its worth it.
![](https://pic1.mangapicgallery.com/r/avatar/cb/u3901182_50x50.jpg?2)
I finished reading it. I can’t lie, I cried in some scenes, especially the ones where ML self harmed and MC’s argument with his parents who are in a cult. God they hold so much trauma, and the trauma isn’t resolved yet. I don’t think it ever will, but hopefully they’ll find ways to cope, this seems realistic—mental illness doesn’t magically disappear, they’ll still struggle in some ways.
And you’re right, the Seme at first says he can’t live in a world without you—as in the blonde imaginary guy from his dreams. But later on, he refers “a world without you” to MC, I think he realized he can’t live in a world without him. I mean, ML even self harmed because he couldn’t stand being away from MC during the break apart arc.
I don’t think his first love was anyone, since his imaginary person wasn’t real, it was his coping mechanism due to his intense trauma. He admitted it was all an illusion, that love he had was him seeking comfort. Gosh, his parents are the worst along with MC’s parents, and ML’s mother moved on and has a new kid too.
I’m glad they got back together. It felt horrible seeing them apart, even though it was only for a few months I believe. I read the epilogues as well, I hope there’s more to it besides sex.

Anyone else feel bad for Dylan? I don’t agree with his manipulative behavior and using Colton, but it’s hard to not feel sorry for him. How can he love an abusive trash who still isn’t moved on from his wife?
It’s amazing how we saw him as a young Dylan, being with Colton’s father, now they’re old but still together in an abusive relationship. It’s so sad how much Dylan is still waiting for his man to change, but he’s getting slapped around even in his old age.
I wish there was an alternative universe where Dylan got his own happiness, and same with the father. I don’t agree with what both of them did, but I still seek happiness for all characters. It doesn’t mean I justify what they did, but for my heart to be fulfilled, I wish for this.
Maybe an AU where Dylan and Colton’s father is in a happier relationship, Colton’s father regrets abusing Dylan and they end up together happy. It shouldn’t be fast paced though.
Who’s jobless/chronically online enough to list all the sex chapters?
i can if u still want it
