Also, I came here because I'm trying to find a Yaoi where there was two brothers in love with each other. One of them had glasses the other loved getting buttfucked. They were in highschool. I think they were fighting for class president. Also they had an STD arc? I think. TY!
I love how realistic the MC is (calling her MC because she's not Eris and her real name wasn't mentioned). In most stories, the MC obviously feels out of place at the beginning right after transmigration, but usually ends up getting used to it. But this story is so refreshing to read because our MC just DESPERATELY wants to go back, even though she wasn't really leading the ideal life there. She missed her family, her home, her life that she had to leave behind. That, coupled with how she was determined to go back, but wavered at times made her feel so realistic. I really loved her.
And Anakhin. BOI, WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN TO SAY HOW MUCH I ADORE HIM. Best boi frfr. He's one of the best MLs I've EVER seen. He genuinely loves MC, so much that he even held back his own feelings to carry out her wishes and ensure her happiness. He loves and respects her so so much. Those 3 clowns don't even deserve to be compared to him. They'll never ever be even a fraction of the man Anakhin is.
I loved Helena too. She's such a sweet and kind person. Although Eris mistreated her earlier, she still forgave her and was willing to get stabbed if that meant MC could achieve happiness. I'm happy that there's something she wants to do, although it might mean that she's stuck as the Empress, a role which will prolly not bring her happiness. On that note, I really respect the former Empress (Melpomene). She had to see her beloved son get executed by the man who she loved and then still forced to live on with the memories of her deceased son. She yearned for revenge and I'm so happy that she could achieve it with MC's help, even if that meant that she also had to die.
As for Medea, Kintia, Emma and the rest of the witches, they are so supportive of the MC and her choices throughout. Medea helped her however much she could whenever MC needed her and the other witches supported her and the MC continuously. I was very moved after seeing how much Emma cared about Eris, and then later, the MC too. She was the mother figure that Eris needed, someone who would love her and care about her unconditionally. And I really love Kintia too. She was such a strong and independent person, even as a child. She really did deserve to become the Goddess, though I wanna see what she was like as one. I cried in the part where she shouted "Off with her head!" during her execution, despite liking her so much, just because she wanted to respect MC's wishes.
And last but not least, THOSE SHITTY MEN. ALL, EVERY SINGLE SIGNIFICANT MAN IN THIS STORY WAS TRASH EXCEPT FOR OUR LOVABLE ANAKHIN. THEY MADE MY BLOOD BOIL. I know that Alecto suffered a lot as a child, but that is no excuse to continuously hurt someone innocent (Eris). The way Hubris was so obsessed with MC was so disgusting, especially because she saw his mother in her and KNEW that she was his half-sister. And the Kazaar guy was so self centred that he didn't care about MC's feelings and only wanted to protect her and make her feel like he was the only one she could rely on only to comfort himself. The way that the Marquess and the Emperor treated their wives and children was fucking vile. If they really cared about them, they would've cared about their opinions too and not force everything upon them.
Phew, that was such a long rant, but I loved this story so much I'll never shut up about it. The plot was amazing and the execution was so well done. I gave mad respect for the author and the artist and the rest of the staff. This was truly a masterpiece
I mean, entering porn world at young age, might have effected me on my keen interest in Consensual Non-Consent (CNC), but if 2 consenting parties(without any IRL different power Dynamic) have discussed about this and if there is trauma it's been being taken care through therapy, i think it's okay, given that they also knowledgeable about this field......
Kawashibara is the exact opposite, he is not conventional at all and a social pariah but he has the one thing she doesn't; genuine passion and a clear soul whenever he dresses up in girls clothes and does girly things. Onaga lives vicariously through Kawashibara's happiness by providing him with girly things like makeup and clothes. She enjoys being responsible for his happiness and can find purpose by delivering these small joys to him.
When she learns that he wants to confess to somebody and actually move forward with his life instead of staying her plaything, she lashes out and says that she was the only reason he got thus far; and that she is the harbinger of his happiness and without her it's impossible.
obviously he gets rejected and now onaga can be his deity once again and she wins in the end ig
I'm trying to write a female MC right now for a comic I'm writing but it's been pretty hard finding female characters I like in manga to get inspiration from. I really hope both my own and the readers unconscious bias don't make this story flop. I've taken a lot of inspiration from miyazaki on writing women cause I love his female characters but th......
Hating them would be stressful and a burden so imma just forgive them and move on. They did give me that MC training arc in life lol
1. He lied and tricked his way into Jooins life. He carefully curates a whole persona that is dedicated to only chasing after Jooin. The person he is with Jooin and the person he is with his family are two separate people. Jooin never even gets the chance to know who the real Cain actually was.You can say that it's normal and people do it all the time but in this context it isn't because even Jooin picks up on it and when he asks Cain to bear himself he doesn't. He is given a chance to be the one and doesn't take it because at that point he had already started to feel guilty for overstaying his place in jooins life. When you lie about who you really are you are denying the other person the opportunity to love the real you.
2. Cain constantly infantalises Jooin. He may not have done it intentionally but he did it anyways. Throughout the series he behaves like Jooin is a literal child that needs to be protected from the big bad Yahwi. Jooin is a whole grown man who can handle his business. Cain assumes he knows what's best for Jooin without ever having that conversation with juju. By default he even underestimates Jooins feelings for Yahwi and believes he is the better option and that Jooin can only be happy with him. Let's bffr who was he to ever decide that? I would confidently argue that this narrative of "he was just trying to protect Jooin" is just bogus because Jooin never asked him to do that. In facts Jooin tells him to not pity him and not to insert himself in his Yahwi business. He went and did things on his own and believed Jooin should feel enamoured when all it did was burden Jooin.
3. Invading and basically taking over jooins personal space. I hate how people rename this as "domestic life" when even in the end Jooin doesn't have a safe space to be by himself to just unwind and be with his thoughts. Maybe is genetic considering he is British and they travelled all over the world feeling entitled to people's places and property. And he does this intentionally to keep Yahwi away cz he knows Jooin would never bring Yahwi over while he is there. This also trickles down to how he basically obstructs Jooins study time in his own place when he had already finished his coursework and was just waiting to graduate while Jooin still had several years in school. You'd thinks he'd be sensitive enough to at least think of Jooins studies but nooooo he is protecting Jooin from basically nothing. Maybe he thought Jooin would drop his studies to travel with him or something. All this just circles back to how he believed he knew best.
4. His general "obliviousness" to the fact that he was also a contributor to a shitty situation isn't green flag material. Cain stood to benefit the most from Jooins confusion and I personally think he was betting on jooin to pick him before having any clarity that way Jooin would feel too guilty to leave him afterwards. Throughout the series he uses the fact that Jooin pities him to guilt trip Jooin into letting him stay in his life. The entire time he knew Jooin didn't love him and just felt guilty and he was okay with that situation instead of removing himself and letting Jooin pursue his true happiness. To him Jooin pursuing love with Yahwi may not have made sense but it was never his place to decide for Jooin what his happiness should look like.I personally believe up until the end he was okay with a miserable Jooin with him than a happy Jooin with Yahwi.
The fact that you can't trust the fucking ratings here becuase everyone will give everything 5 stars. Even shit that WAS JUST UPLOADED ONTO THE SITE WITH 1 CHAPTER gets 5 stars from people. Read the comments and you'll see stuff like "wow that ending was pretty bad" or "this character annoyed me" but THEY STILL GIVE IT 5 STARS. To any new users ou......
