I wanted to answer to the post that brought up Taku's interview introduction and words to Haesoo as argument to say that he looks shady... it seems the post was downvoted into deletion.
Taku replying about his dating style : " I don't have one. Meeting someone, dating ... it all starts and ends pretty much the same way" then he goes on to make the comparison "Like a jar filled with candies in their colorful papers. The colors, scents and flavors may all be slightly different... but once you unwrap and put it in your mouth, it's just sugar and additives, it all melts away"
What is the author telling us about Taku? Taku is describing an uneventful romantic life. He has never fallen in love before, he has no emotional baggage, he had his fair share of lovers but no one who left a mark. More to it and based to his laid back attitude about letting Haesoo use him... Taku apparently doesn't expect to fall in love with anyone soon. He is interested, he likes Haesoo but his previous experiences with the same kind of feeling makes him approach Haesoo as the next erotic, beautiful thing that is intriguing him right now.
This author is masterful. Taku unwrapping the lollipop after they spent the night together and his pensive face... what is he feeling? maybe the first inkling that this 'candy' is not like the others? That this one won't melt away?
The second thing is Taku saying to Haesoo that 'You can use me, I actually prefer this way'. Also the very beginning of their thing. Haesoo is teasing Taku in the car. He is annoyed that he can't decipher Taku & his way of flirting. He tries to get the upper hand and get Taku to be uncomfortable or at least play the same game he is so used to with Joowon... and starts saying that if Taku wants to fuck him, just say it, that he must know that Haesoo is easy (after reading his stories). And of course Haesoo is not prepared for Taku's blunt answer: "I know ...the kind of person you are. You can use me if you want. In fact I'd prefer that way"... Now, we can guess what Taku was referring here with 'I know the kind of person you are' ... maybe Taku sees through Haesoo and knows he is the kind of person who uses sex to numb pain or he knows Haesoo way of life is manipulation seduction but either way Taku is flirting with someone he is interested in ... but not necessary is thinking this will be any different from other people he got involved with ... and the 'prefer this way' is about Taku keeping things honest between them instead of engaging in the type of manipulation game that Haesoo is so used to.
Last but not least, if you dislike Taku only for the fact that he is rival to Joowon, using these initial words from Taku as a way to make Joowon look better only backfires because compare Joowon's introduction ... his words are not even open for interpretation. He brags about being a giant asshole to his lovers, he sees them as prey. In Taku's case, Haesoo is not part of his life yet so he is not talking from a pov from a man in love with anyone yet ... but Joowon? This is man carrying on a relationship with someone for years and his predator/prey view of it is even worse when we know that Joowon is the dominant/controlling side of their dynamic.
This story is not only about Joowon and Haesoo individual development that will make them fall apart or fix for once what they have. Taku is also a character that will get development and his major development is that he will end up falling in love with Haesoo even if he didn't plan to when he offered to be 'used'.

I don’t know how Jinwoo could have so much patience with Seohee and Woojung. I would have slapped her after the fifth time she tried to force her feeling on me, and Woojung would have had to catch deez hands because I’m sick and tired of hearing “a normal person would know what to do” or “give Seohee a chance”

I'm really surprised so many people are being critical and mad lately. I think it may be due to impatience? Because the narrative and pacing *is the exact same* throughout the comic, so it's not anything new. I get that it's a slow burn, but that's just realistic, and that's what we signed up for, dudes.
We have a character who's never been interested in anyone before and a dude who has had an unrequited love for YEARS. Of course they won't just all of a sudden be in love without complications, while YuYang already has enough on his plate, by getting his family to take his sexuality seriously and being in charge of so much at the college.

Bruh, Skyler is kind of worrying me. He clearly suffering from depression and anxiety. When he's alone, his thoughts get really really dangerous, and he doesn't always have the best judgement when it comes to trusting the right people. I have an uneasy feeling that something bad going to happen to him. I don't like this at fucking all.

hey it's elise here! I've seen that quite a lot of people have been pretty upset about the changing of names but i'm sorry i can't do anything about it )): as i have said, this is from tapas, and from what i know, in pretty much every of the webtoons that they translate they use English names instead of the original Korean (or any other official languages) ones. i'm pretty sure tapas has actually sought for permission from the official authors before changing the characters' names so i sincerely hope that everyone can understand this issue!
if you are really uncomfortable in reading this with their English names, nobody is forcing you to read it. you can always wait for another scanlation team to pick this up (or translate it yourself).
With this, i hope this has cleared up misunderstandings! happy reading ahead (:

I think I figured out why this disturbs me more than killing stalking. Let’s all admit killing stalking is pretty disturbing. But for awhile I don’t know why I couldn’t stomach this webtoon. And tbh I think because of how normal it is. Like when the professor was first introduced he just seemed like the normal perv that we meet in real life. He came off as a friend, someone trustworthy. A perv but seemed like a pretty decent dude. He wouldn’t do anything. Right? Wrong. Reality is it’s usually the ones you trust that end up taking advantage of you. And it makes my stomach sick. And worse the mc thinks it’s his own fault.

I don’t really like Mari’s maturity (well, lack of it I guess lol). Yeah, Mari and MC both made some mistakes, but at least he OWNED UP TO THEM and is trying to apologize/fix his behavior (he was even wracked by guilt most of the time). But Mari? She got caught sleeping with a married man and says it’s okay bc it’s love. She did like...zero introspection or apologizing. And it’s all okay because she wasn’t friends with the man’s wife? Wow, how shallow, to think it’s okay to sort the world like that. Mari never wants to change or admit fault, but expects everyone else to grovel. Grow up, relationships (including friendships) require work from both sides. ( ̄へ ̄)

You know someone's a bitch when they're even more antagonistic towards the wife that got cheated on than the wife was to them (aside from that brutal hair-pulling scene). She was so bitchy to the wife [who was, on the contrary, calm because she's so done with that baldie's cheating ass haha], she seemed to feel zero guilt about dating someone else's husband and all she did was blame everything on external factors (like her apparently negligent brother). Also, it's not like I don't understand her anger towards Junyoung but really? Calling them assholes for being lovey-dovey in their home that you casually trespass into without any warning? In conclusion, the wife's analysis of Mari's character was pretty spot-on.
