Theory one...Sisyphus was known for trickery and deceit, avoiding death twice. Gueon could be Sisyphus and Hounds of Sisyphus could mean the people are his pets, that he cannot control everything, but he can control how he reacts to his situation, and enjoy his situation with this pets.
Theory 2 - he is a Hound of Sisyphus. Hounds are typically know for relentless pursuit, so maybe Guwon is the Hounds pursuing and or harassing others because of Sisyphus curse.

Loved the story. I want food of the pressured sex, but once I realized, or think it's so, that Tak is nuerodivergent. I could his side better. His inability to read social cues, feelings, even his own, I started to enjoy the 2nd story much more
