Beautiful. Deals with shame in such an imperfect, fleshed out way that it feels incredibly human. Odajima not only struggles with shame over his sexuality because of societal heteronormative standards but also because of the guilt he harbors about finding exhilarating the very thing that ruined his illusion of the happy nuclear family he had at home. I reallyyy enjoyed this one

Only on here people are willingly reading a bl story and throwing a tantrum over the inevitable romance oh brotherrr just drop it y'all look ridiculous.
Anyway the artist is amazing. Sejin looks exactly like how I imagined while reading the novel

People aren’t throwing a tantrum they’re just stating the obvious. At the start there wasn’t this parent child dynamic so people wanted to read it as a BL but now it’s developed into a story most people didn’t expect and I’m not really looking forward to it changing to them having sex after he has been pushing that he is his guardian.

"Parent child dynamic" Sejin already has his mom and he doesn't consider someone else ever taking that role in his life, I thought that was obvious. Meanwhile Seju is just a guy who took him in because he doesn't want a teenager like his dead sister to also die. Dumbing down their (complicated) relationship at the moment as ether romantic or familiar is just nonsense and shows how simplistic people are
Yeah I'm back here again for #real lovers. To this day their leves of sick codependency haven't been topped at all
