this chapter is really important to me tbh because it really just calls out people who baby deaf people. honestly these kind of people think they're helping when they're pitying them but in reality they're just demeaning them for something that literally does not matter. most deaf people live their day by day life completely normally. learning sign language, about deaf culture, and all that stuff is very important, but don't pity people. instead, work more towards making things accessible for deaf people (ie public events having asl/sign language translators, subtitles as theaters, just learning sign language in general) instead of being like "oohhh poor you. it must be so hard trying to live. stay strong!!"

#-.-) people treat me the same way because I use a wheelchair most of the time. It is either people who approach me out of pity or they just stare... some feel like they have to do things for me,when I am perfectly capable on my own. Sometimes people ask if my mom is my 'helper' and just ask my mom questions about me like I don't have the mental capacity to hold a conversation... even if I try and talk to them, they just ignore me and talk to whomever is pushing me.
...honestly some people only talk to us to boost their own image and its sickening.
So, I can really relate with this chapter. ( ̄へ ̄)

also shoutout this manga for actually acknowledging its character as bisexual instead of just making him 'straight with an exception' which is entirely unrealistic and dismissive of bisexuality. also for talking abt the lgbt community in general like most mangas never do that.

I actually asked a friend of mine who is gay, if she thinks that would be possible...I mean, being straigth and having an "exception", and she didn't thought it was strange...so I think there are both cases actually possible, but the the exception is often used to hide bisexuality I guess...

yeah definitely! i'm not saying it's impossible or anything, I know quite a few people who feel like they have that ONE exception, so i definitely don't think its impossible. its just that its an overdone stereotype that can be pretty harmful at times, and a lot of it centers around biphobia, and homophobia too. though there are a lot of times too where its portrayed as 'having an exception' when in reality it's just them being bisexual lol.

It's so refreshing! I also love how the mangaka included the books on LGBT life, and how sensitively she handled all of that. It adds a dose of realism that most BL doesn't have.

Well it's posible, why always put labels or i mean at the end love is love it's not about the gender or sexual orientation & yaoi is not that realistic cause yaoi is more fan service is more like shoujo, thats why the realistic one is Bara where they really count LGBT stuff...
