The ending tore at my emotions. To think that such a tragic ending had to occur... But after reading the writer's thoughts afterwards, I understand. As much as I would have preferred a happier ending, the ending of this glorious story was perfectly designed. Thank you for your art, Sensei! I look forward to reading more from you.
