MC is starting to get on my nerves a little i get that from her pov she’s in a book but how she doesn’t care about anyone’s pain except the duke is irritating as fuck like your parents and your people literally died, your sister is being abused by a crazy emperor and you expect her to fall in love with her abuser just like in the book? shouldn’t you be helping her change her fate? she’s really selfish when you think about it bc only caring about eating delicious food is not a quirky personality trait.

Edit and Spoilers:
The Emperor’s death was kinda underwhelming but I didn’t expect him to harbor real and pure feelings towards Ingrid, the man killed himself bc his sole existence enraged Ingrid and he wanted her to live a peaceful life. He’s still a peace of trash tho.
