Seeing Muheun’s insight was really interesting. It really reveals how complicated the relationship is between Muheun and Seungjoo. It’s family loyalty, neighbourly love, older brother/younger brother, overprotectiveness due to losing Seungjoo’s siblings and the guilt he feels over not being able to save them and then beneath it all this feeling of inescapable entwined fate. Now I understand why he keeps pushing Seungjoo away every time Seungjoo is endangered. Muheun is so scared of history repeating itself and being responsible for yet another death in this family.
So I was intrigued when I heard JJK was giving head for the first time and I read this chapter with some anticipation but all I felt was disappointment at the end. Idk what I was expecting or hoping for but he’s clearly not really suffering is he? Sure, being less selfish and giving Dan some pleasure for once was nice but that’s hardly redemption. I guess we still have a long way to go before that happens. But seriously, where is this JJK suffering we heard so much about?

I’m all caught up now and I am loving their relationship. Please let them just be happy together after all that horrible kidnapping trauma. Sungwon had so much pressure put on his shoulders from his father. It must be liberating to be able to be with someone who sees you for who you really are and not who someone wants you to be. Hansol is such a genuine sweetheart, the way he cares so much for Sungwon is lovely. Although I do worry about what his brother said about the differences between them. I hope they can work it out.

I liked that this chapter showed the nature of Muheun’s relationship with Seungjoo when he was younger. That he felt that their fates were entwined so he was extra protective of him and that he thought of him as a brother until more recently.
So sad about Seungjoo’s sister. It feels like Muheun was in an impossible situation. If he told her it could make it happen. If he asked her to stay it could make her fate worse? It must really suck to see different futures like that.
