Tbh I didn’t even really understand what everyone was freaking out about. I was confused by the translation so I figured I’d just missed something. Glad that the author has cleared things up though. I really didn’t want another favourite story ruined.
This was such a sweet chapter. Seeing Jaegyum going from not wanting to acknowledge them as his family to sobbing as he calls Mesan his brother. That beautiful hug at the end, I was really emotional! Love them so much!

Ngl, that ending disappointed me a lot. There’s still so much that should have been covered, plot holes like snake daddy and monkey conspiracy. Also couldn’t we have gotten at least one more kiss? Siyeol is trapped as the successor but at least he has Soonam I guess.
I also wouldn’t have minded seeing more about them training to be the new leaders.
And yeah, the attachment bond is definitive proof of the depths of Siyeol’s feelings for Soonam, but you still could have just said ‘yes, I like you.’ SMH
