I don't even know what the hell I'm reading anymore. I can see that Merlin's sin and story were yet to be explained but this just feels like the author is dragging it. Tbh I'm curious about Arthur and Merlin story and it looks like a great set up for a spin-off. Just let this one go, everyone else's story is done. If the author didn't conclude the other plot lines too it would be understandable but he didn't. It honestly feels like the author wanted to set up another story and finish this one off but the publisher didn't want to.
