what is that one manga/hwa/hua that made you start reading and appreciating them? for me, i'm a lover of yuri/shoujo ai and been reading them for 15 years. my very first time reading a manga was in 2010 and it was GIRL FRIENDS. this one is indeed a yuri classic. i'll always be grateful for this masterpiece as this paved the way for me to love mangas <3

I read comics since 2014, i think.. webtoon (the app) was fairly new at that time, first story i read was.. orange marmalade(?) I actually forgot the title it was shoujo btw, it was from then on i started loving comics~
Then in 2019 i stumbled upon a BL genre, the first one i read ngl, it sucks lmao then i searched again and i found 'im yours blood and soul' for me, who never read something lewd.. that one was WILD lmao.
i read a porn yuri dj of Little Witch Academia when i was 11 i was traumatized but then i kinda liked it and read more. (it was a Sucy x Atsuko dj btw)

Never. But I do go through photos to see if I vibe with the art.

Not completely reliant on them but yes, I can usually tell by cover if it’s romance / love triangle or harem.

Yeah if cover match with my taste i click and read first chapter , check the story type and also check if art style is okay for me . if it's okay then i read and if it's not okay with story or art then don't read so yeah cover play really big role for me . (=・ω・=)

It's quite sad that most readers here are not giving much attention to yuri. Like if there are readers who are asking about a yuri/shoujo ai manga, there are only very few who answers or nothing at all. I hope one day readers will realize that there are so many yuri/shoujo ai mangas that are sooo beautiful and amazing. :)

Personally, I just can't read them. I tried and the plot was ok but I cannot get to the romance part. Maybe that's how most straight guys feel when they try reading yaoi idk.

Well I do admit that yaoi/shonen ai is my fav, but I've read a few shoujo mangas and I've enjoyed them (unexpectedly lol) so I'd like to give it a shot since I think you're right, they really are underrated in here.

The best manga for me is Hana no Mizo Shiru. There's just something about it that pulled me in. The Manhwa for me is He's dedicated to Roses. First one I've read and loved it. Webtoon for now, is Our Omega Leadernim.
