it’s so jarring to go from reading the novel to reading the manhua lmao. in the novel translation it’s county princess but here it’s marquess? how odd lmao.
this story reminds be of something you’d see in those bl transmigration novels where the mc travels to different worlds, becomes cannon fodder and has to change the storyline because the protagonist’s intentions are not really pure, they unintentionally started trouble in the future, or they ruined the life of the, previously said, cannon fodder.
it reminds me of that because the mc of this story influences a lot of men, and could potentially create conflict with that, intentional or not. (there’s plenty of examples of people having harems, and one of the harem members is royalty or something and they can’t do their job without being biased toward the mc and starts wars for them or something of the like.)
i mean i’m not saying that the mc of this story is bad, i’m just making an observation. if this doesn’t make sense i’m sorry haha i just read a lot of bl transmigration novels.
Yes, I find this a very common pattern in particularly Chinese transmigration/rebirth novels with both female or male (BL) MCs. I think, in the end, whether it's enjoyable or cliched rubbish just comes down to how well the story is told/executed.

they’re actually bl webnovels, so if you don’t mind not having it in comic form there are quite a lot of transmigration stories. “quickly wear the face of the devil” is the first one i ever read. there’s also “who touched my tail,” “heroic death system,” “holding onto my man,” “how to die as heavy as mount tai,” “there will always be protagonists with delusions of starting a harem,” and a lot more ヽ(・∀・)ﾉ

i’m so confused about people making a big deal about them ending up together (if they even do. but from here it looks like they are). you’re okay with the violent, cold-blooded family who kill each other on a daily basis, but you draw the line at these two who knew they aren’t real siblings falling in love?
I certainly don’t think their falling inlove even though they are related siblings they are still siblings and that would be incest The story is trying to show us how anisa is trying to make things more peaceful and make her brother not seem like the villain and since she can see aura’s that could help her it can make the siblings develop more into not the villainess syd but into the seems rude and evil but actually nice and caring :))
