I recently started to post on Instagram, too. And being still kinda new to the digital art, I would say looking at references helps a lot with shading, also watching tutorials (where they actually EXPLAIN what they are doing) is great!

My main advice is to check the Shounen Ai genre, not the yaoi one, cuz its literally boys love without showing sex. Enjoy! reply
