Tbh I don't understand the whole hate towards Jihwa. For all these chapters Seunho's wrongdoings were explained and justified by historical context. That Nakyum, other servants are just lowborns, for nobles literally second human category. That's why we shouldn't look at his actions so harshly because they were completely different times.

But suddenly the same logic doesn't apply to Jihwa.
Imagine the dishonour. That the fellow noble man you've been in love with for ages... Prefers some LOWBORN over you.

Let's be real Seungho treated Jihwa like shit. And I seriously doubt that he didn't know about his feelings. He is intelligent and perceptive man. He's just used them to his advantage.

So imagine you've endured the mistreatment of your beloved for ages and you were tossed aside as some trash and replaced... Not even replaced: your beloved fell for some LOWBORN. Maybe said lowborn bewitched your beloved.... Because it's unthinkable.

Seungho didn't have bigger problem with torturing, hurting, raping or even murdering someone from lower status. But suddenly when Jihwa wants to do the same.... It's an unbelievable sin.

Some readers even judge assassin...as if it wasn't his very job.

The same with InHun. For him Nakyum is just a pawn in his play, second category human. Nothing less,nothing more.

Nakyum isn't the only one who needs saving but Jihwa as well.

sorry to disappoint some people here, but heasoo was not crying because he realized how much taku love him or realized how much he loved taku
He was crying because he realized the emptiness in his life, something he didn't want to lose, ( JOOWON) "if felt like something was being cut out from my life it make me really sad"
It take a long long long time, but everyone understand their feelings, the 3 of them was selfish, at different moment,
joowon was to sure about his relationship with heasoo, and act wrong because he want to protect him.

heasoo put himself as a victim, and putting all the blame on joowon

Taku only act for him and for his personal satisfaction

People can say what they want, Joowon have the biggest character development, and he is the most mature

I understand that some of you want Taku To be the end game because you like him
But honestly do you really feel some chemistry ? Love ? Do you think taku and heasoo are happy like that ? Taku feel alone/sad when he is with heasoo and feel happy when H is sad that so weird (chapter 93) Or it’s because you don’t like joowon, so you want taku to be the end game ?
the relationship taku has with heasoo only brings out his bad sides, he feel insecure because he know heasoo is still in love with someone else

we can't force heasoo to go out with someone he doesn't have romantic feelings for, that would be unfair even if for a lot "it's the best choice" it doesn't work like that, I know loh is just a non real story but it’s the same in reality you don't go out "with the best choices"

I doubt this panel is random, it looks like author precisely focused on the package.
And we know that cigarettes symbolism was tied to Joowon's and Haesoo's relationship through the series.
So it can symbolise that Haesoo (even if unconsciously) craves and misses Joowon.

so whats happened is :





ryujin who had the demon inside him that burned everything he ever knew, has fallen in love with imae the mysterious boy who has a power and something in his hair that hasn't been unlocked yet.

ryujin's mentor bohyun has passed away with his lover in attempts to protect the institute.

taeryung, the head of the institute, turned out to be a bad guy that wanted the demon inside ryujin to revive/unlock his dead lover (bohyuns older brother)

the two people with cool color schemes that were soul mates without the romance,, the purple haired one died and the one with the heterochromia is super lost and doesn't know what to do with his life

basically the place that housed ryujin and imae burned the fuck down and now they're trying to get revenge on the person who did it

right now imae and ryujin are working with a demon that they saw in previous chapters to ??? i don't know this part this is all off the top of my head lol pls respond if u have more to add or correct

I’m seeing a lot of comments about people hating Hyesung and Chowon and defending Dojun an Dojin, like are you all blind or what? The brothers Park are truelly trash, one of them is a rapist and the other was obsessed with a child, a very bad husband who didn’t care for his partner and let him do a lot of bad things because he was and is a fucking coward. But okay just continue defending then and hating at the real victims.

i’m really sorry for jiha(?) but i don’t condone his reaction and his behaviour towards nakyum(?) fuck i can’t with names

he thought that after everything they’ve gone through together, seungho would have chosen him

While I don't agree in his actions, but do understand the concept of unrequited love quite well. Some people just aren't able to find healthy ways to endure and move on. Both himself and Seungho are in great need of healing. Nakyum also. The Author has a good opportunity to take this in a positive spin of events as a conclusion. As many people get at times too personally invested in these stories, positive lessons can also be added to promote self-love and healthy ways of dealing with trauma.

- Why should Seungho think that Nakyum ran away when he said beforehand that he was waiting for him to go home together?
and no, the confession is no reason to believe that
- Nakyum is not fully clothed at the end of the chapter, the clothes may provide some clues to find him
- Jihwa sat in the same position and cried for hours after he was rejected. I feel with Jihwa. I also felt sorry for the servant who got murdered.
- the assassin not only tries to protect Jihwa but teaches him reason. The mere fact that Nakyum is still alive and Jihwa sees him now shows that Jihwa now has to become more aware of what it means to get your hands dirty. I hope he regains his sanity, moves on
- in Jihwas eyes Nakyum is the person who seduced Seungho. He does not know that Nakyum himself was raped several times
- Nakyum is the main character, he won't die

Imo, after a long time, that was finally a good chapter again. It was time for something to happen. A little more tension, development and progress does not harm POTN. I hope I won't be disappointed next week.

I get the feeling that the assassin has his own sense of morality (kinda like the Mandalorian), and may be trying to spare NK in his own way. He knows Jinwa isn't a cold blooded killer at heart. That's why he brings NK alive, instead of just bringing Jinwa his body, which is really what Jinwa wanted. Actually, I think Jinwa just wanted to hear about NK's death third-hand, so that he could be detached about ordering NK's death. Now, Jinwa has to confront his own plot and a very alive NK, I don't think he'll have the guts to go through the murder. And I think that was the assassin's plan all along, because he actually likes Jinwa and has compassion for NK (another commoner).

Ahh I love the second couples dynamic so much. The hardworking, serious
and seemingly ordinary person who needs color in their life with the wild and eccentric person who needs stability. It’s perfect.

It isn't even about the sex... It's about the desperate need to lose yourself clinging on to each other hoping the other one is doing better. To be comforted physically when you are mentally broken. I....

People have always hated on Joowon right from the start but I'm so confused how Haesoo and Taku were never put on the hot seat when they're just as bad as Joowon, arguably worse in the recent chapters since Joowon has a character development.

When they were young, Joowon had always prioritized protecting Haesoo because he was already in love with him, this is not debatable, this is obvious. Saying "don't fall for me because i won't fall for you" is something that Joowon deemed to be necessary in order to protect whatever they both had so they didn't have to be away from each other. They were 16 when they first met, it wasn't weird that they cannot consider each other as "siblings" and they weren't even raised together for long like the CBAW couple but it's definitely weird that they're fucking while their parents also did.

People say that Joowon is manipulative and controlling but Haesoo said that he likes it when Joowon gets jealous and this particular statement heavily impacted their dynamics. Joowon was willing to love Haesoo in whatever way Haesoo allows him to, this doesn't excuse his behavior and should be held accountable for that but it certainly is important to note this since it points to the fact that Joowon never intentionally does things based on whatever benefits him most. (This chapter proves my point, he even doesn't excuse himself for whatever wrong he did and acknowledges what he has done plus his action proves that he's trying to change in the Korean chapters ahead this and those really proved Joowon as a wonderful character, it made me love him so much)

I reread this and it made me realize how self centered, insecure and immature Haesoo is but even if he is built like that, he is still easy to push around. He was so petty and immature to sleep around to intentionally hurt Joowon because he knows what hurts him which is funny because he also thinks that joowon does not value him enough and he continues to intentionally hurt joowon. rather than saying it's contradicting, i'd say he's just looking for things to throw at joowon hoping joowon reacts just so he could prove that his 'hyung' does care but joowon also never really insisted what he truly wants. (stupid af, like? just talk u mfs)

Haesoo keeps projecting his insecurities on joowon like how he literally tries to make out joowon as someone very cold and unreachable to the point that he keeps on wishing for joowon to fail. he's shitty to think that he's the only one who has it hard just bc his feelings are hurt. like i said, being hurt is not an excuse for him to keep on wanting to hurt joowon bc joowon is literally hurting to but he never wanted haesoo to intentionally be hurt. (Kr chapters prove how all his actions were never driven by ill-intent, Joowon had always wanted the best for haesoo even when it will be him that will suffer)

Taku... I have no words for him. I do not want to be biased because I read the recent KR chapters but he literally doesn't get better. All he focuses was his feelings and wanting to see Haesoo get hurt because he wants him for himself. Literally thinks like a child getting desperate for not getting a candy. He used Haesoo's vulnerability to his advantage and kept wanting to push Haesoo to the edge to the point that it can only be him in the end, so no, it's not a "healthy relationship" his stans claim it to be and they both know that. Haesoo being selfish took the offer and Taku being selfish does it so he wins the stupid competition he has with Joowon in his head which he made up by himself. All he cares about is Haesoo staying in a relationship with him, he never genuinely cared for Haesoo, he wants to be with Haesoo because that's what he wants and he's got to have it like a brat. (I want them to end up together tho bc i just want joowon to be happy now. taehae suit each other bc they're of the same breed )

joowon is fr annoying in the next chapters like bruh why u fucking simp over a guy who only cares about himself, let him taste his own poison with taku seriously tho, i think haesoo gets better in the recent chapters, joowon becomes a fcking saint he ain't even want to hurt haesoo and wants to put haesoo first always like BURH U need to care about urself and taku... eerrr let's see in the upcoming chapters

I sense there will be some character development; with the Assassin, and things will switch around, and somehow he’ll kill inhun (scholar) or something. Just a thought

I see people forget that it was Taku who put himself into that mess. He knew he is walking into fire but he was intrigued by the story and wanted to get closer, even started meddling a little bit (but meanwhile he caught feelings). You have to know that when you play with fire you can be burned.

Can’t underestand those who likes hyesung but hates chowon. They are literally same level bitches. Hyesung is more disgusting to me. If anyone tries to cover hyesung for trauma then chowon has some mental issues too. Why can’t you guys forgive chowon like hyesung?. Everyone covers hyesung about mental thing but acts like chowon is not like him?. Or some of you guys jealousing him for being materiallistically above from every omega?. Lowkey want Jihwa to be the one to stop this assassination thing like he'd go to the assassin's house give him money and say that the kidnaping wont be happening anymore because after that confession he later realize that his love for Seungho was hopeless and then this assassination thing will be useless cause it wont change anything (basically Seungho's feelings) then after thinking about that he would cry in front of the assassin because of his hopeless feelings and the assassin would comfort him. Hoping after that we will see Jihwas own love story because I lowkey ship them. So it’s really clear in this chapter why Jihwa is so attached to Seungho. Not only were they childhood friends but they were also subjected to shameful treatments by their families to cure their homosexuality. Jihwa latches onto Seungho because they’ve been through a lot together and he knows the kind of torture he’s endured. Whether or not Jihwas father subjected him to the same kind of severe treatment and beatings as Seungho is kind of doubtful, but it was still hard for him nonetheless. Seungho is really the only person who can relate to Jihwa, and as such Jihwa wants to be loved by someone who also understands him. But Seungho is so emotionally stunted he is incapable of feeling that way about Jihwa on a deep level, maybe deep down he cares somewhat, as shown by the time he let him walk away unharmed after disrespecting him in his own home. His love for Nakyum was a very unexpected attachment even to Seungho and Jihwa feels abandoned being willing to love him through all the bad that has happened in their lives and instead giving his heart to a lowborn he just met.
