i get that a lot of you don't like raymond bc he's a bit sketchy, but think about it, even if he does have some kind of ulterior motive, he hasn't mistreated ian once. so to me, he's fine, unless he pulls a seungho, then it'd make sense to hate him (not saying i hate seungho).

the fact that she had haesoo named "my son" on her contacts sent me

    BlubbDia July 8, 2020 5:33 am

whats the big deal? should every mum save their childs contact as some cheesy nickname instead?

no need to take it so seriously lmao. my parents have my contact saved as my name. so i found it funny how she managed to choose a contact name even more basic that.

the word toxic has been thrown around so lightly when used to describe this comment section. so what if people get defensive of their favorite characters and have disagreements? it's not "toxic" to put your thoughts into words and have others that don't agree reply with why. toxic is too heavy of a word to describe commenters. have any of you that frequently state that even looked up the actual definition of the word itself? if you don't like the comments, just don't look at them. simple.

here come the people who compare killing stalking to painter of the night just to justify why they don't ship nakyum and seungho...

again, you can ship who you want to ship, but killing stalking ≠ painter of the night.

this couple is so fucking hilarious, i love them :')

ali July 3, 2020 6:19 am

it's so interesting how in their second lives, they've lived through so many different eras. and now, as you can see in the extra, they're still together in modern times.

ali July 1, 2020 8:17 am

or did anybody else not find this as sad? idk, the story itself is mediocre at best. maybe it's the lack of depth from the characters? it also seemed like every event in the story happened in like, two seconds, and then moved on. this story had potential, if only the plot wasn't so rushed. interesting concept, and the art's very pretty.

my heart truly hurts for kirino. he ended up becoming the one thing he truly hated. he knew his fate when he saw that disgusting, but pitiful teacher. how long will he keep living unhappily just to uphold society's expectations? how long until society will finally stop being so unaccepting towards gay men? how many others share the same experience as kirino? something like this is completely unavoidable if society would stop caring so much about who other people love/how others live their lives.

this manga was so beautiful, it'd been a while since i'd actually cried over one. i'm happy things worked out for yumeno and mishima though

    Ashu July 2, 2020 7:08 am

I really don't think Kirino will ever end up like their teacher. He's got a much more stable head on his shoulders and has a lot of compassion for the people around him. But, completely agree that it just plain sucks. I'm sure he has his happy moments and loves his kid, but it really hurts thinking that a kid who threw up after having sex with a girl has to suppress his feelings the rest of his life as a married man. I really wish his mom had been as accepting of him as Mishima and Yumeno's moms were, but I have to say that the author did such a good job of portraying his mom. She's not some one-dimensional villain, but a concerned, confused parent who wants the best for her kid but has no clue what that is.

I don't think that Kirino and his mom made the right choice, but they made the choice themselves and it's such a common one for people in the real world, so it was interesting to see it go down that path rather than a fluffy but unrealistic one.

of course i know that kirino won't end up like the teacher, but i was comparing him to the teacher because his situation is quite similar. given the fact that they both grew up repressing their sexualities, and also got married to fit societal standards.

y'all might not agree, but i think nakyum and seungho have such a funny dynamic (when they're not being all yk, aggressive towards each other). nakyum is such a baddie, i love him. and seungho is just a funny worn out man who has to keep up with his painter's energy. i cannot WAIT until they start being soft lovers bc i just know their banter'll be immaculate.

ali June 27, 2020 8:47 am

ryoumei was a tsundere seme done well it was nice to see one that wasn't so aggressive towards their lovers for once. he was such a great bf and honestly so adorable. i loved ao's character as well. it was hilarious how he bluntly told anybody about whatever he had in his mind. and i loved his straightforwardness when it came to his feelings about ryoumei.
