I want to high five that asshole Inhun. In the face. WITH A CHAIR

Koobie March 26, 2020 8:07 pm

Why do I sense Yoo Jung's vibe (Cheese In The Trap) from Sunbae? I mean the way they try to manipulate people around them and keep their lovers clueless most of the time

    ryu_ishimaru69 March 29, 2020 10:06 am

I REALLY GET WHAT YOU MEAN , THATS THE VIBE I FIRST GET WHEN I READ THIS MANHWA (≧∀≦)

Koobie March 22, 2020 1:41 am

OMG the plot is similar to Torikae Baya. I did some research and found out they both based on a Japansese tale from Heian period. Hope it do the original story justice

Everyone calms down. I think what Claude meant in "Go and get her" was for Felix to go and get Athy back. It's just Felix misunderstood the command. I'm 100% sure Claude wanted Athy to stay even if it only made his headache get worse
Damn all these misunderstandings! Where the heck are you Lucas?!?

    bananacake March 20, 2020 6:26 pm

I HOPE this is the case!!

    bluemin March 20, 2020 7:22 pm

I hope so, but claude already told her to stay at the emerald palace. He wanted to call and see jenette so his headaches will go down, i think that's how the magic works

Koobie March 19, 2020 6:32 am

That face grew from the fruit scared the shit out of me, seriously (⊙…⊙ )

I knew of this manhwa long ago but never gave a try. I did it today and yuck, I wish I didn't. I was okay with the uke aka Ewon but the seme disgusted me so much to some point I wanna puke at him saying he somehow fucked his so called father. He acted like he abandoned his everything so that Ewon need to take him back. In fact, what he means by "his everything" are properties he got from fucking his old man. I can't with this man. Such a toxic relationship

    Ayyyy February 26, 2020 3:57 am

U just dont know what good stuff is so yea

Isn't the art a bit similar to Suddenly become a princess one day? Although the use of color tone is different. Maybe this was the earlier work of him/her

    Kyoo54 February 21, 2020 9:03 pm

Someone said the author was an assistant of spoon that’s why s/he got kinda similar style

    Hellooooooooo February 21, 2020 11:40 pm

ooh that would make sense cause even if it was an older work the coloring just matches the current style of suddenly became a princess too much.
    Really dig their coloring ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Wow Yuna really loves Nari. I mean as a friend. Though I don't mind if she swings that way

Koobie September 12, 2019 3:59 am

How to say. I definitely enjoyed the novel but this adaption failed to impress me. I feel like Lucia was out of character with the way this webtoon portrayed her, from outward appearance to inner characteristics. I must say I'm disappointed but this is only my opinion

    MsMercurial September 12, 2019 4:13 am

i like the novel more but well this helps with the imagination department when you read the novel... just like how a movie cant capture the entirety of a book... its just how it is and still thankful that they made adaptation

    LavenderOkamari September 12, 2019 4:47 am

    You aren’t wrong

    fangirl September 12, 2019 3:56 pm

Yeah me too, not to mention the anatomy totally fails...

Koobie June 9, 2019 6:14 pm

I don't have any problem with the art style though. It's amazing. What annoyed me was the world building. Base on the costumes, this webtoon has ancient China background, and the particular costume which the ML was wearing was of the emperor (not king of any vassal kingdom, but emperor). However, aside from costume, everything went wrong. The way they acted, the gestures, attitudes, everything heavily implied a Western style regime. This setting suits a western landlord more than an ancient chinese emperor. I thought some authors finally tried a different setting once in a while but this half assed world building turned me off immediately

    aila June 9, 2019 6:52 pm

Hahahaha, don't expect Good World Building (or do you mean realistic?) in stuff like this . I have given up a looong time ago~

    Jayjay June 10, 2019 4:55 am

It's a Korean webtoon, so it's probably an ancient Korean kingdom, rather than ancient China.

    blatantescapist June 11, 2019 4:26 pm

What the above poster said. This is a korean webtoon. Koreans have their own culture with their own palace grounds, outfits, and customs. They also had emperors. I dunno much about Korea apart from that day tour I had a few months ago when I visited the country but I assume the author of this manhwa would know their own culture. You kinda look like an ass complaining about this tbh.

    Koobie June 12, 2019 12:33 pm

Excuse me?!? As an Asian, I am familiar with both China and Korea history and particularly grew up watching chinese and korean historical drama. This setting is no doubt about ancient China. You should look up for some information first before assuming whoever against your little knowledge about ancient korea was an ass

I'm inclined not to believe in any personal info given out online since anyone can lie on the internet. Until this story elaborates where this place is, we shouldn't assume it's Ancient China. Maybe it's an Southeast/East Asian fusion in a fantasy setting where it doesn't have to be historically accurate when the country is in entirely different world.
