Don't get me wrong, but it all depends on how the scene is done and how it makes sense. Like in omegaverse, esp if the author establishes that characters cannot control pheromones or something. In the end, it has to make sense. This however, does not. It's not in line with JJ's character.

Nah more like how can I make readers side with only one character. As if it's a cardinal sin that the MC is not favored by all the readers. MC just means the readers mainly follows the plot through the MC, it does not mean it's necessary to put all the love and favor to the MC. FFS. I side with JJ and every other characters side with him too, so why build that up in the first place.

That too, like it seemed pretty easy to spot both flaws in both characters, personally I didn’t side with either even though Leo made me more annoyed. This just seemed kinda out of character for jj and this could have been not a thing if the author just tweaked Leo, finally had jj snap and scream at him and lead Leo into a not be stupid character arc and have the fan root more for him

I didn't mind where ch 14 was going really. JJ is angry and from ch 1, Leo did not mind having sex anywhere. So asking for a blow there at the warehouse seemed in line with JJ's issue with Leo, asking as fuckbuddies. But not a full blown sex on the floor. Just deep throat and leave. Have Leo enjoy it but then left dry because they didn't go all the way. It's parallel to ch 1 when Leo left JJ after he came.

Sure people would still be annoyed but it makes more sense and that milks out Leo's stupidity and JJ's not being direct.

Again it's the parallels, regardless of what you expect a person should or should not do. In ch 1, did Leo wait to get to the hotel? No they went on it at what seems to be a storage room. We did not see if JJ told him no and just wait until they go back to the hotel but they went at it there. So doing it at the warehouse makes sense. But JJ should have stopped there. The point of the scene was Leo shouldn't make the calls and JJ simply following again. JJ is not following this time, he makes the calls.

But he was established to be gentle and still care for Leo. So deep throat is technically something light yet still showing anger. Leo can be written enjoying it and wanting more. Anticipating they'd continue it at the hotel but JJ doesn't and leaves, with maybe a random excuse. It's a direct parallel without going overboard and rewriting JJ's whole character, yet delivers the point of the scene and even milks the miscom. It's all about being consistent.
