I know that these are the typical generic everyone should watch type anime, but if you haven’t seen one of them.

Attack of titan, story in beginning is very meh but at the end of season 3 this anime becomes a masterpiece. I cried so much.

Watch code geass and steins gate aswell.
If you watched all of these already ( I’ll try to find something not as generic) or want me to expand on the story lmk.

Bringing out the big guns I see. Wolf children and grave of the fireflies gutted me amongst all of them.

Violet evergreen and hotarubi no mori e are pretty good contenders.

How could I miss them out (◞‸◟；) They are just flawless Especially the episode with mother writing letters for her daughter 【＝◈︿◈＝】

if you watch through the whole chimera ant arc, yes its very sad
