It is. BUT in the last chapters. I guess the manhua is gonna be there in a year (I'm not kidding, each chapter of the manhua is too short). I highly suggest reading the novel, is soo good. The animation is good as well but doesn't have the yaoi part. However, they do have a bromance. Anyways, I'm just a fan trying to drag someone else to the fandom because it is worth it. You can find the novel till chapter 73 and the first season of the donghua in Exiled Rebels web page.

yes, read the novel! There is subtle romance and some really cute scenes throughout, but the mutual attraction doesnt come out in the open until near the end. The yaoi is at the end as well, but when you do get the the those scenes, they are super steaming hot! And if that's not enough, this novel is worth reading even just for the MC, Wei WuXian . Seriously one of my favorite characters of all time
