I agree… but I think the whole situation twisted him and brought out his worse self…it was a toxic relationship that he had with Daon and Jaemin… I think he even realized it himself when he first went to the military… he told Daon he didn’t think he’d die of natural causes if he stayed by his side…
Truly, since he was trying to get Daon to stay with him even if it meant hurting him… glad we have to same view!
I like how there wasn’t a backstory to Jaemin’s actions. Horrible people don’t need to have excuses for why they’re the way they are.
