Imma be honest at first I thought gjord was one of the villains even when he was trying to help because all he wanted from mc was sex. Everytime they met up was just kisses and caresses, everytime mc had a strong emotion he actually wanted to talk abt gjord would just be like “but we haven’t seen each other in so long” atp I thought he was pretending to be his lover and in the past gjord was just an obsessed fan boi who just wanted to tap that

Its the present. Slyhan is remembering things from the past and thinks its the present while Gjord goes along with what he remembers. Slyhan is confused because he's resume taking the original medication prescribed for his mania but at a much lower dose.

Yeah, its why Slyhan hates taking the orginal medicine for his mania. At the initial dose he was given was too high and while it surpressed/prevented the seizures it eats away at his memories. If he doesn't take it, he'll slowly regain his memories but the risk for seizures is so high he's unable to tell reality from hallucinations. The compromise is for him to take the medicine at a lower dose so it'll surpress the seizures, eat less at his memories and he'll still have a sense of whats going on.
Lysbeth was cruel af for starting him on this medicine.
