Talking about someone’s fiancee in front of them and saying “oops, sorry I didn’t mean that. Let’s still be friend and call me brother” like!?
I remembered reading the story untill the merman came and paused for, I don’t know 10 years?. Then come back to see the story got so complicated about Norio and Kunimasa status and breaking up. The merman and shinobu’s story is still so mysterious but got cut off to the whole new universe of Manami and friends, what??
Volume 1 ended pretty good by its own. New character is annoying as hell.
I can read these mangas many times! I rate them >9.5/10 based on my own preferences, so there will be lots of non-mainstream BL

But the saving brother plot is not convincing to me at all. There are hundred things more important than this sh*tty prince’s life (Zeth’s life, winning the war, saving small folk’s lives blah blah) but Louise would choose the brother (who is the cause of the war and brought tons of innocent people to death) just so he didn’t feel regret not saving him. Oh come on!
So we don’t need to feel bad for them. Keigo doesn’t feel anything about his heart being replaced even if it caused someone else’s life and he intended to do the same for his father, though he knew very well how dreadful it was for him back when he was the one being chased (like in “ majo no inu”. Even so, I love the dynamic of him and Natsumi. Clearly they have genuine feelings for each other, but the back story of them is not the excuse for what they did to others. Keigo is a selfish bastard who doesn’t think about anything except for himself and people he loves. So in the end, his selfishness cannot save his father and almost cause the life of Natsumi, which is the only person he has left. The open ending left us with the choice he’ll make whether he’s gonna treasure the only life Natsumi has or not. People feel they don’t get the punishment they deserve. But to me Keigo already learned something that in the end it’s him who needs to let go. It’s good that the main couple choose to leave them like that and just leave everthing behind to live their own life and find happiness in the end.
I really like this pair. There’s still a lot of plot left to be cleared like Terasawa betrayal and the back story of Natsumi. Seeing young and inexperinced Keigo is quite fun too, as we saw him very mature in “Majou to Neko”.
For quite a while now in twitter. The short hair boy with a dark skin boy. I didn’t know who they are until I saw Niina cut his hair. Maybe or maybe not, doesn’t matter. I like the new look anyway, he looks refreshing. I hope he’ll find the love he deserves, like Kuno and Souma.
He was so desperate when he tore down his last wall and begged Fukami to stay with him. But Fukami felt scared to be that closed to Kaji and ran away. There’s nothing for Kaji to do now. He did everything. It’s Fukami’s turn to make it right.
Please don’t drop this. I love your work and will be waiting for the update. Thanks
But what the glasses guy do in the first chapter is not cool. You force him out of the closet and really make him feel uncomfortable. Just because he looks too nice and you know he’s hiding something by putting up a wall, doesn’t mean you can trample that wall and go in there by yourself. The glasses said he hates jocks but he’s such a player trying to mess with the uke’s heart by acting nice to get close to him. What a hypocrite
A bittersweet first love with someone older. It’s their culture (if you’ve been around j-movie and pop songs, you’d have known). I don’t want to say what is right or wrong. If it happened in real life in my culture it would be inappropriate.
In my opinion, if the story wrote it as an adult taking advantage to an innocent minor who still have no ability to understand what’s right or wrong, especially manipulate them in sexual way. That would be unacceptable. I would feel disgusting and will not be reading it. But this kind of coming-of-age story of Miyai is always have the borderline feelings in it. So just read it as fiction, or if it too disturbing, just skip the part.
But then the very sweet heartfelt confession of Kuno and the genuine smile of Souma have to be cut to the damn teacher, Ack!!! Why
People always love the spin-off story of the broken heart character from the main couple, but Toguto/Slen story was so weird and not convincing enough for me, sorry.
Love this series so much. I think go for the bonus first would be great. But if the 2nd bonus take too much time and kinda discourage you to finish the chapter, feel free to put on the volume 3 first however you like. Thanks again.
