Glad i read this when ch 10 was uploaded or I would’ve lost my shit thinking of Toji dying and Kazuma living his life with regret. Really loved the plot. I think that Toji still hasn’t moved on quite completely from Takeo, and is confused whether he really cared about Kazuma bc of being similar with the dad. But from the recent chapter, it seemed that he realized his love for Kazuma was not just because of his connections with his past lover.
Also was so happy to see the mistress from their past, really wanted her to appear and I was glad to see her character again here.

I’ve been going through an art slump/burnout for months. My commissions are delayed and my clients are still waiting. I’m also the breadwinner so I can’t afford to just stop and take a break. Seeing mc get so desperate to draw something fucking hit me like a truck. I pretty much forgotten how to enjoy drawing when I got so warped with it becoming more of a chore instead of passion. I’m so terrified that I might lose my spark and start to hate drawing.
Anyways, loved this one for sure. I only started reading this now bc i saw that it’s about single dads w kids. Didn’t know I’d be bawling my eyes out. Mc got too relatable lmao.

Loved both of the characters and how casually their relationship developed. And how much they want to support each other. I like that it didn’t take a romantic relationship to suddenly ‘cure’ the mc’s insecurities and trauma. Would love to see the story they make together.

Compared to other manwhas that had similar plot, this one actually put depth to the characters. Euihyun is stubborn but capable and stands his ground especially if it’s for his brother. I raise my siblings so I resonated with him a lot. Taeju’s character development surprised me the most. The author actually spent time to make him acknowledge his absolute fucked up traits and the consequences of his actions. Finally doing something right for once.
They could’ve just continued writing him being a sick manipulative fuck and readers would probably still eat it up. But he’s trying to redeem himself and ACTIVELY doing so, not half-assed. And he’s got a fucking wit and personality too. It’s not your typical obsessed, cold, controlling, ‘mysterious’ gangster seme. That’s probably why I continued reading. It’s fucking funny seeing him get pummeled by Euihyun. So this is still way better than most toxic bl I’ve read

The first story resonated with me a lot as an artist and the struggle of expectations and pressure pf making something better than your last work. I love how they put focus of their hands and it’s power to move people.
Second story should’ve been in a separate manga because they’re both so good aaa. The relationship of the three goes beyond brotherhood and friendship. They’re literally soulmates. What Nobu went through was fucking tragic. Bawling my eyes as the three finally met and be together once again.

I kind of expected the ending, but not this soon. I tried reading the author’s other works when i waited for the updates and there’s a lot of bittersweet/ psychological theme in a lot of them. I’d love to see extras about the two even if it’s not canon

I thought it’d just be about horror and murder oooo zombies and all that. But I’m surprised by how well the story’s put, that it’s mainly about questioning life, morality, and what it means to be a good or bad person. I feel so bad for Mamiya and what he’d gone through. Sada is still considerate and gentle with not touching him, when he also went through shit. And I like that their relationship is developing and being more open to each other.
Now very nervous of what could happen next because it’s still horror and anything could happen. Hope they don’t get found out soon.

The plot started so silly that I couldn’t really take it seriously. But I kept reading it bc it was unironically funny. You really can’t predict what’s going to happen next because it shifts 180. New characters, different plot every time. And I don’t hate it, it’s still really fun. Keeps you curious and intrigued. But I keep seeing a pattern. A lot of angst that unnecessary drags and no one tries to communicate their needs. Mr. Shen is still stubborn and Zhen hao gets cold and doesn’t talk. I do get their struggles but it’s becoming a cycle at this point and they should really address their issues with each other.
Also I’m interested in Xiao Fu’s relationship with Fred. Hope she comes back and tells her feelings for her.

I liked how “but I’m a man!” didn’t become a main issue. Both were comfortable with what their relationship, no dragging drama. And the seme isn’t some nonchalant character that’s cold and calm. That was what surprised me most. I’ve read a lot of old bls and hated the tropes where the ml acts like they don’t care at their lover, so this was nice. Just two adults acting like one. Would’ve loved to see more tho. Since it looked like they hinted marriage and being together for years, i would have loved to see their domestic life together.

Plu-sized character that STAYS plus-sized until the end. I hated those troupes where the author decides to make the character suddenly skinny to imply that they had a “glow-up” when they were already attractive in the beginning.
