the pain/fear/excitement of having to deal with separation after graduation is so palpable. it really takes you back to that part in your life, when the possibilities are truly endless. i can't imagine having to deal with a first love at the same time (i personally didn't experience so-called-love till 24). and not just any love, but same-sex love. the feelings are so real, and i found myself (yet again) crying along with them. *sigh*
was just re-watching the anime, and felt compelled to see the real thing again. so many of the panels are captured perfectly, and the dialogue verbatim. y'know this wasn't my FIRST bl/yaoi manga, but one of the first. i feel so blessed for that. to this day, my appreciation for the superior quality and genuine warmth of this mangaka and her characters is fathomless. and since it's forefront in my mind (because it was the last extra), i've got to give a shout out to that jeweler. wasn't she awesome? XD
