that was what i needed. somehow lately i've been reading / watching so many ungratifying things that this really was a treat. him accepting his advances was super cute and unexpected. ^o^ yey

i must say i LOVE the emphasis on food and mention of banh mi!! i'm part viet so wootwoot!! plus her works are always heartfelt, well-drawn, full of YUMYUM smexy, and admirable maturity. i am full of adoration.

think that was a mistake

i really do love this manga, but good god it just keeps going back and forth, and back and forth (almost like a korean drama: so much angst, due to both parties trying to do the right thing, yet hurting the other and causing misunderstandings). it feels so realistic, because everyone has their own reasons, doubts, fears, etc. and i believe there's no one correct answer. i mean, that's how life is i guess. it's just...*sigh* kinda painful. but it's beautiful nonetheless.

"geez, stop thinking difficult things and fall in love with me." great line. i wish hozumi luck in getting that uncle. knowing this author, we WILL get a happy ending, so this spurs me on!! (plus, i LOVE all the interactions with itou: SOO CUTE)
