i was super hooked reading this manga that i never paused. anyways, this gave me the same kind of dread and depression as metamorphosis, moral deterioration arcs really make me feel.. hollow
i do appreciate the parts where ryuuto & kokoa individually realize that they are scum and they projected on one another, although i was hoping that kokoa would at least be tried for being an accomplice in several counts of murder because she present in all the crimes (photo & dna evidence EVERYWHERE)
i got really confused with hayami (the pretty boy in prep school) like i thought kisaragi killed him then rich youtuber was like oh i heard hayami from 5th division off-ed himself. what is fifth division, who is this youtuber what the fuck? anw the yuki arc was sooo confusing and rlly ruined the story for me.
while reading the kisaragi arc, i was expecting that kokoa would've been a more active character by purposefully manipulating dudes to kill for her for some messed up reason but the fact it was just her leading a lot of guys on (and i guess 1 out of 5 dudes turned out insane). like mai (college friend) warned ryuuto in the beginning to not get close to kokoa, so i really thought that there was something sinister under kokoa's cute facade. ALSO THE FRIEND COULD'VE BEEN A MORE INTERESTING CHARACTER THAT YUKI, like girl has known kokoa since HS, she knows of a murder related to kokoa like man she could've had a bigger role in the story

whenever i see Kasumi's chest, i get scared that we'd get fanservice content in the future and it'll ruin the story. i pray that the gooners will never touch this manga

okay i get why age is important plotwise, but i feel like the story won't really change if jill was 16-18, the goddess' age was 20 and above, etc. as much as I want to accept the idea that "oh in the past, the age of maturity was _ and young girls were being married off at _ age" but this is a work of fiction in a world that isn't closely related to ours so it doesn't really have to follow those conventions
don't get me wrong i'm still gonna read the story cos it has an interesting plot, but i feel like id enjoy this manga more if it weren't for the weird pedophilic undertones like I CRINGE when the emperor kisses jill on the lips like SIR THAT IS A CHILD she hasn't entered puberty yet ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ

i just feel hella bad for him and asagiri cos they never rlly got closure. i'm not even asking for a happy ending for them, i just wanna see their chapter close properly cos man it was pretty devastating
I kind of feel like the ending was rushed. For me, Madam Grey (Harold's mom) was more of an antagonist than the Morrows. I feel like the Morrow family as an antagonistic force was set up to be something big in the beginning but fell super flat in the end.
However, I appreciate the tensions in the love story. I was so conflicted when Katrina and Rosemary were introduced, especially with Rosemary being a direct comparison to Mia. I'm super happy that Katrina and Harry got together, their super short love story is great and I imagine Katrina's stories to be like Beatrix Potter's books. I'm happy that Harold and Mia got together too, but I still feel unsettled with how the mom storyline was wrapped up. I also wish we could've seen more of Mia's backstory and family.
Kinda excited about where this will go! I love that her greatest motivations are 1. her duty to the royal family, and 2. challenging her acting abilities/performance. I can't wait for all the gap moe!!!

I kinda noticed that Chapters 18-18.5 have a simpler art style as if they rushed the mangaka to finish it ASAP. I almost didn't recognize some of the characters.
