Who cares about whatever he's going through or whether or not he knows she was abused. He has put her under so much stress her whole life, never respected her, never cared about her, he never even tried to ask about her feelings and thoughts yet he somehow demands her to come to him if she has any troubles. Like what the actual fuck?!
Even after realizing what she's been through, he did not reflect on his behaviour, nor did he try his best to gain her trust. Just because he's also a victim of the duke it doesn't make it okay for him to add to her sufferings.
So people who think he's cute, you need to check your brains. Until he himself decides to change his ways and make amends, he does not deserve a second chance.
Dokja's reaction to Min Jiwon is funny as fck hahahahaha
For anyone who is tired by the history lessons, worry not.... this won't be the only time you'll be getting these lessons hahahahahahahaha korean history, greek mythology, norse, roman, chinese, japanese, indian etc you'll be learning about ALL of these XD
I'm just here to watch y'all suffer
The pacing is weird, it's too rushed. The story is boring and flat, but what actually made it worse is the translation. "Peha" is not the emperor's name, it just means "your/his majesty" in Korean. The names are also inconsistent (Biddell/Videl), not to mention they always mix up the pronouns (I, You etc) and that made the already bland dialogues even more confusing. You can tell from the translator's notes that the scanlation team isn't really well-versed in English nor Korean. There are a lot of grammar mistakes. It's not even an interesting manhwa, I suggest they drop the translation and move on to another project.
When he said that the imperial family members are airheads, I agreed lol.
I mean, just look at the way they handled the kidnapping, it's almost like they have no trusted guards or knights at all. EVERYTHING has to be done by the emperor or the princes. They should've appointed a few magicians that could've fought against the grimoires(?) "bloodlust" thingy. I mean, they already knew the opponents are capable of magic, and the fact that they only sent knights is stupid. They also didn't do a background check on Riolu(?).
Everyone is just so... incompetent. They're so dependant on their guardians and the royal knights seem like cannon fodders
It's always like this in stories. Whenever they say they wanna talk at someplace private, it's almost always NEVER private. Like who tf talks about that stuff on the staircase? And even if they do, people usually don't mention it straightforwardly. It would've been enough for her to say "it's hard for me to believe what you said but I'm gonna try" instead of straight up mentioning "you reincarnated" etc. At least if someone overheard, they could make up a story.
This is so fucking dumb, are characters just not capable of keeping secrets anymore? You're telling me that these professional adult who have high positions in companies are that unaware and incapable of finding a truly private place?!
So this is the start of Dokja's "I'm gonna give you two options" mindgames hahahahahaha
two seconds later..
"but there is also a third way..."
