I honestly hate how this anime got popular on TikTok because after it did the fandom just turned to garbage, like for example I see people sexualizing Ash and then thinking it’s okay, it honestly makes me feel sick to my stomach. I sometimes think that some people only watch Banana Fish just because of Ash & Eiji’s relationship when their relationship isn’t even the main focus of the story :’) It honestly makes me sad how some people only watched the show just because of Ash and Eiji’s relationship. Ik this is all over the place but I just felt like I had to rant a bit
yea i fucking hate it when people go "omg i want ash to rail me" etc it makes me fucking sick. you know what ash has been through, you've watched the anime, you see how he does not like sexual contact due to his trauma, and if he did, you know it would have only been with eiji, and youre still making jokes about it?? i get a crush, but thats just beyond disturbing to me.
