The art style didn't change, it's the same. It's just that MC and ML looks different as chapters went by. MC looking more calm and ML looking more human.

It's complete! I haven't seen the author posting about any possible vol2 on her twitter. Even her sequel for the one with the snake god has been really slow with updates :'(
