That's what I figured. Uke was druged by murderer but somehow Prince found him before culprit could take uke. Then the prince not knowing uke is drugged invites uke into his bed they have sex uke leaves and because of the drug forgets about what happened and Prince acts like a spoiled ass cause he is hurt and doesn't know about the drug.
Its just my speculation, I bet that the real killer is that other goody two shoes duke who is obsessed to uke.

You find out dark hair knows light hair's feelings. He semi wants to take revenge but as a reader you figure out pretty quickly that the dumb revenge is just an excuse to have a relationship with light hair. Light hair has feelings for dark hair so it's mutual but he's denying for some reason that you will find out in the future.
Idk if I'm explaining well, but it's not a bad read. PLUS, the $$$ scenes are beautiful.
