Rainbow city (now I’ve typed many many paragraphs explaining buuuuuuuut let’s do it again)

Starting with the plot once more, here’s the basics
It’s post apocalyptic setting in which a company had decided to release a virus to sell vaccines Turing everybody into a zombie. The virus started to mutate this rendering the vaccine useless and the world was declared for a state of emergency. As nations fell they banded together in over to stop the spread of the vaccine, creating what is the main setting of the story “rainbow city” in Seoul Korea which was a city mainly controlled by the government split into seven sections to meamsure the zombie or “Adam” rate, with green being the safest and red being the most dangerous as well as military bases to to train and raise soldiers and hiring researchers in order to develop newer vaccines, but the problem was that the virus kept mutating and have already mutated 7 times rendering all the vaccines useless and the story goes from there. The only place unaffected by the virus was JeJu Island which is where the protagonist, Dr.SeokHwa, came from. A 34 year old poker faced genius researcher with a weak body that isn’t strong enough to even run, and had a strong obsession with rocks (reason will be revealed later) who once had been to rainbow city with his mentor but had returned back to JeJu Island to live a peaceful life was now needed to research the new variant. So the city sent soldier “Major Kwak SuHwan” to get him off the Island as well as the job of being the doctor’s personal bodyguard because Major Kwak Suhwan, being the strongest man in Rainbow city, barged into the red zone late at night without warning and caused a shit ton of chaos, massacring Adams just to fuel his alcohol addiction and was now given 2 options. 1. Get Dr.Seok off JeJu island and be his guard or 2. Go to the guardhouse which was basically a detention center for soldiers. Major Kwak, having the most fuckboy personality and was still reluctant to do it, manages to convince Dr.Seok to go back. However, he soon figures out the reason. Dr.Seok’s old mentor had been murdered in the base. With that, Dr.Seok starts to research the death of his mentor and starts to find things in Rainbow City that is not what it seems. WITH MYSTERY, LATER ON ACTION
Now at the beginning it Starts Sith your stereotypical post apocalyptic storyline, but as the plot progresses IT GOES SO MUCH DEEPER AND THERE ARE SO SO MUCH FORESHADOWING AROUND EVERY CORNER. I’ve seen ppl make predictions and it is truly IMPOSSIBLE to predict the outcome of the plot, there are so so many twists. Like a “Never let them know your next move” but with a plot that is actually rich and understandable (if you’re smart enough) but that just goes to show how well it’s written

The characters
Every character has so much personality and hidden personalities each with their own background, not just the ml and mc but the side characters too. The mc who is emotionless on the surface and yet shows more emotions than any other character. The ML who seems like an asshole/f Boy idiot when it was all an act and he knows exactly what he’s doing even if it seems cruel he only has the mc’s best interest at heart (except the SA in chapter 3). Major Lee who is actually one of the few loveable female characters you rarely see in BL and she too got her own background. And the villain and how his background connects to the entire lore + the mc and ml JUST UGHHHHHHH

And the dynamic ohhhh the dynamic is the cherry on top. It’s a slow burn BUT THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THE CHARACTERS IS INSANE. Later on it’s so so so beautiful and poetic especially in the novel. THEYRE JUST PERFECT FOR EACH OTHER PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. And I don’t mean physically like the shrexy time but other elements that will be revealed as the plot goes on JUSTTT UGHHHHH. How they are both inseparable and just seem so so sad when they’ve been separated for only a few mins ABSOLUTE PEAK ADORABLENESS. Ofc Dr.Seok the mc is my special bby. I live him with all my heart he’s so so so precious. He’s physically weak because of a birth defect that actually connects with the plot but is so strong minded. He had to go through so much shit and yet he never gave up or let anyone walk over him. HE DESERVES THE WORLD.

The Ml, despite being the strongest actually goes through so much sh in The novel I CANT Even explain. He gets injured so much all because the mc told him he wanted to live, all because he knew he couldn’t leave the mc alone. ITS SO SO SWEET

And ofc Rainbossi is written by the o r and only Chaepali so it’s guaranteed to be good. Also the raws r on ridi. The best BL manhwas comes from ridi (I will actually fist fight people over this fact)

This series deserves everything. The ML and MC deserves everything. I dont fucking care what The haters say cause if you hating then u clearly haven’t read the novel or read it but is too much of a dumb bitch to understand. ITS SO SO GOOD, AND ILL GIVE MY LIFE TO THE AUTHOR AND ARTIST WHO ARE BOTH THE SWEETEST THINGS!!!!
