Maybe I'll pick this up again in the future. As it stands now, only at ch16, I find Pink haired guy very annoying. It might seem cute and funny to others but: having someone that's supposed to be a genuine girl friend but is actually spying on her for him, intentionally spreading rumors despite the hardships it may put her through, and being violent to men around her - makes him a 2 faced pest.
Rant: Honestly f sympathizing with Hyllian. I don't believe she's that naive and blameless. Even if she was that dumb, ignorance can be a crime when it leads to others suffering. Agreed with half of comments: Hill never thought of what fl went through nor cared to know. Hill could've spoken up but never did. Instead she pushed her selfishness onto fl and had complete disrespect and disregard for fl boundaries and feelings. Why is it fl fault that Hill has a complex where she thinks everyone must love her. Why must the fl listen to Hill? What about the fl's wants, desires, and trauma? Why should she bend over to please someone else. Saying Hill is just as much of a victim is a slap in the face to fl who suffered. It downplays/minimizes fl experiences. Just because someone is family, doesn't mean you're obligated to love and understand them, especially if they never tried to understand you
Not only this, but out of the two, Hill grew up loved from both sides.
Helgas mother showered her with love because of her own guilt and loved her enought for both her "bio" parents, yet when Helga talks to her inprisoned mother... the mother cant even look at her because she feels she robed Hill's of everything and cant love Helga as she feels she dosnt deserve it for growing up in Hills place.
Meanwhile the "Bio" parents hated on Helga and abused her but noone cares because it was just "training" and bio mom tells her "No mater how bad they treated you, you were raised in wealth and knowlege"...
Helga is the victim and Hills may be a minor victim but every one takes pitty only on Hills.
I understand bc her backstory. But the backstory has no relevance except for the fact that it was created solely to be the reason for her being so naive. Because she's naive, she doesn't question things such as the high priest that conveniently sent the Saint after the knights already died. She supposedly is familiar with the story, but it's useless since it does not aid her in thinking logically.
Why do I feel like the fact that the church was kidnapping children to kill them was glossed over? Talking about a serious situation yet completely lacked any seriousness just makes me feel irritated at their lack of expected reaction. Prince is annoying
