I mean, perhaps it's because all reincarnation premises are basically the same? MC is weak, gets bullied, marriageable etc. What we need isn't detwinkification, but better representation and more creativity

I totally get what you mean now omg I don't dip in reincarnation as much as I do in regression and transmigration, so that's why I was thinking more about how the original bodies didn't change. In my personal opinion, I kind of don't mind the twinkification as long as there's a good trade-off between strength and wits. I'd be frustrated if the reincarnator was strong-willed and athletic but then turned into a weak damsel in distress, but if he was strong-willed and smart despite not being very athletic post-reincarnation, I'd like that
