She can temporarily get rid of his headaches but that’s also hastening his death. That’s also why Lucas is always getting rid of dirt (black magic) on Athy, because just being near Jenette could put black magic on her. (〜￣△￣)〜
Aaaahh Harada, the blessed queen of the twisted. As expected, she brings new concepts to "broken". There are so many and too many mental and psychological illnesses, I couldnt name them all. But somehow, harada gets it. The strange thing is that, I could see all of this shit happening. AND THATS WHAT SCARES PEOPLE THE MOST. So fucked up and twisted, epitome of the society's "trash". Keep doing this Harada sensei, I dont know why but every story you come up with is something that makes people think for a very very long time.

I think a new theory has come to play. You know that soowon has been leaving the castle and roaming the villages ever since he was little right? That's where the corruption starts, he sees all of what king Il has done to the kingdom. Killing his father was just the icing on the cake, and not only revenge, but he wants to rebuild the kingdom as a strong one because he knew that king Il and his only daughter yona would not be able to save it.
Soowon has been sickly and weak his entire life. He has a terminal illness. That's why he had to rush to the throne and take over. The easiest and fastest way was to kill king Il and sacrifice yona and Haks friendship. And by eliminating the king, he would have majority control of all of the kingdoms assets, thus the plot so far.
That's also why he asks zeno about his immortality, he does not want it, but he wants to continue living, now that he has the acknowledgement that Hak and yona are still alive and kicking.
And even if he does die, he now knows that Yona is fit to be queen now. Which is another reason why Hak defected to the sky army, and yona decides to stay in the palace.

This is very close to my own theory, because I like Soowon from the start as a complicated and many layered character. Plus all the small details that tell us about his real persona and not just seeing a polite and approachable mask of his (っ°Д °;)っ

Magic usually has various properties. Some derive from nature, others from inner ki, and some from surrounding energy. I think that magic is classified differently here as she is known as a witch, to which is the normal stigma of "black demonic magic". The moon is a major aspect of that, as in many cultures the moon brings yin energy or neg energy. The staff/pole/sword thing that the prince carries is a conduit to support surround energy or inner energy. You can look it up why there are so many reasons to call magic people, ie witch, sorcerer, wizard, mage, alchemist, warlock, Aladdin, etc. Cause they all use magic, but different kinds... ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Even if you explained this well, it doesn't really change the fact that the story itself didn't state not show these factors that well. They neglected a lot of factors and small details which affected the story as a whole and made it confusing to most.
