This manhwa started so incredibly good but how did the plot just went downhill halfway??? Everything’s a mess now. I’d reckon ML gonna sleep with MC’s gangster bro after joining his club *shrugs* idk anymore just hope of there’s gonna be a happy ending to all this.
Yea, I feel like if the author should have these plot points happening around the main characters like we don’t take time out of the story to know in full detail what happened to this certain character.
Like you know the conversation the MC’s brother had with the guy he likes? I feel like we should have been in the point of view of the main character and saw the brother’s emotion after that convo without knowing what in detail happened and wait for the brother to talk about it, y’know?
Idk if that makes a whole sense but that’s what I feel should have happened with the two other plot points with the side characters but that’s just my opinion. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
Honestly, this used to be such an amazing manga. It has dynamic characters with an interesting concept that centres around dancing. The art is fabulous too. But then it got into a pretty long hiatus after their "break up" cliffhanger. Well, technically they aren't officially together but it feels like it nonetheless.
But now, catching up with the new volume...just somehow...the spark of the manga seem to dim for me. Dancing aspect was still great but I honestly think separating them just to create a sort of 'angst' was pretty unnecessary. Imagine how amazing it would be for them to actually solve their problems together and be that fucking power couple. But no, of course dude gotta have a sex with this norman dude who is actually hetero?? just so he could physically 'replace' the person he truly love. Is it really necessary??? Instead of seeing useless sex, we could have countless smexy scenes between both Shinyas. Oh well, at least they're finally reuniting at the end of this volume. I'm just frustrated I guess because this used to be one of my faves but I feel like the author somehow got lost in plot somewhere in the middles and now I'm just looking forward to see how the main characters will officially be together.
Goddammit I love this series so much but this is so sad and quite heartbreaking but it’s still so soooo good at the same time. Both Shinyas should have been fucking the heck outta each other by now. But no love isn’t that easy. Looking forward to Sugiki realizing his love for Suzuki is not ‘dominating’ him but actually being WITH him and standing on equal grounds. I’ll need to take a break after that last chapter.
Just like most of y'all, I'm really not keen on the director AT ALL. I find this person really uninteresting and I'm baffled why Hinohara-sensei decides to introduce such character. Also, why does the director have their POV in the manga when I'd rather the story focus on Shizuma & Minato (duh).
HOWEVER, I recently got the new chapter in Dear+ Feb issue and dear lord, it's very obviously HINTED that director's love interest is ACTUALLY............... ......... .................. ..................... ..................... ..................... ......................... ........ ........ Tatsumi, the dark-haired glasses dude who is Shizuma's best friend AND currently working with Shizuma in the same clinic under the same director.
And YES, the director is confirmed MALE aka DUDE aka HAS A DICK. It's revealed director seems to have certain past traumatic issues with his dad, hence he's dressing like a woman to look more like his mum (coz he looks like her) Mum is probably dead and dad is sickly (bedridden). I can't say more coz I do not know Japanese and this is just me deciphering from the visuals.
But honestly, I still wish Hinohara-sensei could still focus more on Shizuma x Minato. I still don't have enough CARE for the director at this point. THOUGH, it might be a little interesting to see how Tatsumi will be falling in love with the director.
wow what a major spoiler i like it
