I appreciated the warning at the begining, props to translators.
This manga though... yawn... anyone else getting tired of rape to love with no plot
Yes, exactly. A good romantic story doesn't need there to be sexual assault or rape between the main couple. A good story that has rape treats it exactly as such while an amateur one will overlook it as a problem, ignoring the moral implications in doing so.
You guys dumb as f*ck with this rape talk. This ENTIRE manga is built on the premise of rape. Its not about who rapes who, every story I've read by this author involves someone raping someone else when it didnt need to be written like that. Y'all saying "don't like don't read" since we aren't allowed to comment objectively against this manga which FOR SOME reason y'all are so precious about on a site which has illegally uploaded it.
yumi...why u always gotta bring up old shit? give it a rest.
You're on an illegal site because?

Yeah, fujoshis tend to fetishize the hell out of rape (and just gay relationships in general), but they think it’s ok because it’s “fictional”. They act as if it’s harmless and that it’s normal, when it can actually be triggering for victims of rape and other kinds of abuse. It should be general knowledge that if you find rape situations to be hot or romantic, the you’re a weirdo and are likely becoming desensitized to the subject as well. Seriously, fujoshis wouldn’t know an unhealthy relationship if it hit them in the face, which is why I tend to steer away from yaoi as a genre and stick with shounen ai.
THIS! I seriously don’t know why fujoshis think it’s ok to fetishize rape and gay relationships. As someone stated before, content that romanticizes rape is harmful to actual rape victims! If you find it hot, then you are horrible and need to get help, because desensitization is also a big problem! This is one of the reasons why most of the LGBTQ+ community is against the genre of yaoi, because it fetishizes the wrong things and makes people think it’s ok just because it’s “fictional”. It’s the same with Yuri too, but it’s not nearly as bad as yaoi.
Oh wow, the little girl asked her friends to go online and back her up cause she's been cornered with legit arguments she can't refute.
How will rape victims get hurt by this manga? Because fujoshis who read rape mangas will not know what is right or wrong about rape after reading it? Wow, I didn't know Batman fans are out there doing vigilante justice.... I can't believe we are letting Batman comic fans out here undermine our justice system, oh! and violent game players! the nerve of violent game players to roam the street and wreak havoc on the community! It's hurting us! The nerve!
Delusional children are coming over and reading rape mangas and complaining about it in the comment section. In the first place, why are you here?
Also, there is no correlation between reading rape mangas with desensitizing real rape occurences. You guys are so dumb, can you even answer our question? Why are you here?
Sis, I don’t even know her. Lol. I was reading this manhwa because it had an interesting start, and I wanted to see whether or not the conflict would be solved in a healthy way. But alas, the writing turned out to be bad for this couple and the story was clearly only made to please mindless fujoshis, such as yourself. Plus, I want to see if Heesoo gets his own story because that’s best boy.
Though, I don’t think you’re understanding my point. It’s fine to read things with rape, violence, blood, etc., as it can make the story interesting and play with the reader’s feelings. However, once you start thinking such things are hot or cute, then there’s a problem. In other words, you can play a game with murder in it, but once you start thinking the idea of murder is arousing, then there’s a problem. One of my favorite light novels has a lot of graphic content, which is fine because it’s depicted as wrong. Nobody thinks of it as cute.
Also, you can’t just flat out deny the existence of desensitization. If you’re exposed to something for so long, your brain slowly begins to normalize it, which can be even more of a problem if said thing is being romanticized. That’s a fact. It’s an actual thing psychologists have been concerned about, especially when talking about rape culture. But yeah, I’m the “delusional” one. Oh, please. Calling anyone who disagrees with you a child isn’t exactly the most mature thing to do. Just by that behavior alone, I can tell that you’re probably 14, at most, like most fujoshis. But I digress. Here’s MY question for YOU: what do you find so appealing and hot about rape? Please do tell.

Wow you are so boring I read this because I hoping this Hyesung/Dojin pairing would be better than the one in If you hate me this much. Apparently we are not allowed to have opinions or critique on this manga because "don't like, don't read" and if you even QUESTION the amount of rape and why the fuck we're all reading poorly written ravishment porn without conscience you have to leave. I wrote this comment to point out the extremely poor writing style of the authors rape to love trope and how dumb the "don't like don't read" is.
Also I dont have friends on this website lmao.
I totally agree with you but I personally don't think that people will normalize rape by reading this kind of thing. I mean, most of the viewers are probably adults and they are able to think on their own..I hope so. Moreover, rape has always been a sort of fantasy for girls but it doesn't mean that they are enjoying/normalizing actual rape. ^^
But I admit that their relationship bothered me.
I'm really sorry for my bad english.
Ok, you’re ONE rape victim out of the, what, thousands? I’m very sorry that happened to you, but you don’t speak for all rape victims. I’ve interacted with many other rape victims (mostly on tumblr and instagram) and they literally HATE how people are constantly romanticizing rape and calling it “hot” just because it’s between two guys. I fail to see how reading a manhwa that tries to make rape seem like a good thing could possibly help anything, but you do you ig. I will say, however, it’s not a very good coping mechanism and you should find another.
That's why I said it doesn't work for everyone but it works for me...and it's not that I'm romanticzing it .. it's that I know that some times the victims end up bonding or in love with the one who hurt them...it helps me realize I was luckier the others course I ended up ok ....traumatize at first ..but I'm ok... I'm alive ... and I have someone who loves and understand me..
I can assure you the victims almost NEVER fall in love with their abuser/rapist. If they do, it’s because their mind has become so broken or twisted that they’ve convinced themselves they’re in love when they’re really not. It’s somewhat similar to Stockholm Syndrome, but not exactly. Forgiving their abuser/rapist is definitely possible, but the chance that they’ll fall in love with them is extremely slim. This is a prime example of what I mean when I say that mangas that romanticize rape are a bad influence and can affect reality. It makes people think that it’s ok or normal for people to fall in love with their abuser or rapist.
So this is based on a webcomic? Anyone know which one?
