Maybe because her dependence on a man and I can’t relate to that, like I understand she loves him but when you think about it, she really has no personality or identity of her own. Everything she does is for him, the way she eats, the way she dresses, how she feels, the way she acts- is all in favor of him. It’s like she can’t function without him. I love Lou Lou because she’s so adorable and their friendship is cute.

Also i totally get why your confused but to me (when the story began) she died but she'd been transported back in another time she clearly wasn't familiar with and (in her new world) the priest and the vampire have no clue if she is alive or not but she is alive speaking and breathing so he's experimenting that if what ever she is can she turn to a vampire like him and live forever but (just by seeing the sneak peak in the next chapter) his "EXPERIMENT" didn't work.
