It's icredible this invisible bond between Ein and Diesel. Yanek may have saved Diesel from a miserable destiny , but it was Ein the first one to offer confort to Diesel (I'm referring to the scene at the beginning of the flashback, when Ein tenderly said "you are safe now" to an uncoscious and distressed Diesel) and I think this is why he is so aware of Ein, a virtual stranger.
