I’ve had it up to *here* with Adele’s behavior. Sure there’s a “reason” for it, but does it justify the emotional manipulation and strain she is purposely putting the Duke under? Honestly no. Communication is all that needed to happen. “Duke I need to know how you really feel about me, I feel as though you aren’t fully committed to our relationship. I doubt your affections for me. So I’m going away for a while to think about out marriage.” “Duke I believe high society will judge us for out love. The circumstances around our marriage are raising questions about us. WE (keyword WE) need to think of a way to stop these rumors once and for all.”
all of that fighting and the blonde idiot doesn’t get a single scratch on her? PLEASS I WANT HER TO SUFFER. Flat characters like her irritate me so much.
The dialogue always feels like I’m reading a wattpad fan fiction. It’s not the translation either, it’s the entire premise of the story that adds to it. There’s too many plot holes, development is too fast in some parts and too slow in others, the protagonist is the most infuriating girl I’ve seen in a long time. I feel like the potential this comic had was wasted.
I know sometimes in comic adaptions of a novel, writers and artists take artistic liberty to change elements of the story/characters. I wonder if they will choose to do so here? All the readers seem to dislike the idea of romance (and I do too since it usually ruins the adventuring and action aspect of comics... like i came here for a hero’s journey not a slice of life romcom). For anyone who has read the novel: how are the stories matching up? Is it a 1:1 recreation or have there been some tweaks already?
Hmmm this chapter was kinda better in the novel
It showed art's inability to properly comfort someone
He just stayed silent though he said all that in his mind
Romance wise I hope they work more one the flaws of tess

Oh Adele, oh sweet Adele. You’re really testing my patience now. It’s crazy how Adele went from one of my most beloved characters to one of the most disappointing. It blows, especially since she had so much potential
Totally agree, she was doing so great up until a few chapters ago when she got all upset about him smiling at the maid thing, its like seriously? She's just fallen more and more since then.

she's already got some accentuated lips but that extra curve makes it look wacky
