I actually felt so much emotion for the king when I was reading about his trauma. This is so beautifully written and its done in a way where you can empathize with what he’s been through his whole life…and the fact that he’s even strong enough to take steps to try and better his trauma when he realized he hurt his wife… I can’t help but admire him as a character. This story is playful at times, but when there are these mature moments…it just wows you. I really hope this little family can be happy together because man do they all deserve it.
i periodically come back to this webtoon every 10 or 20 chapters to see the alabama tomfoolery unfold lmfaooo tbh its entertaining, but not in the same way a cute romance story is w butterflies in ur stomach. i got roaches in my stomach from reading this LOL but morbid curiosity keeps me coming back once in a while

But she only has experience staying under the radar, she has no real lasting experience in stuff like this (spending long periods of time enduring being targeted directly, watched really closely, etc, etc). The only experience she has with anything like this is the brief realization of being targeted directly that she got right before she died in her past life (before then, she'd never had any reason to think they'd seriously want her dead, oer just throwing her out) so right now, they probably know best because they're A LOT more familiarized with situations like this than she is, at the moment.

it feels like the author only includes the brother when it’s convenient. his absence was essential to the plot of the story, but its getting a little ridiculous. if i remember correctly, he’s just gone away to academy, so why could he not take a 1 week family emergency leave when everyone thought his little sister literally fucking died? or when the head of the household died? even if he isnt directly communicating with his sister as much, he would still find out about all of this through word of mouth. frankly, he’s become a dislikable character before making his first official appearance..granted i could be forgetting some plot points,l
