I liked how the MC has been unattached romantically. Aside from his crush on the healer in the beginning, it's been very straightforward. But now with the female hunter... There really isn't much about it besides he smells good and saved her life. There was some real potential for her to be a strong female lead. But it's so forcefully dainty how she's a "dancer" who is always holding up a little handkerchief. You'd think as a close combat hunter, she's have a more practical solution.
