I started to watch Violet Evergarden at 10pm now it’s 6:33am and I just finished watching the anime and the movie. I am a freaking dry sponge. I swear it’s the first time of all my little life I cried that much. I am so fxcking depressed I don’t know how to describe what I feel that’s too sad man, Gilbert is not freaking deaxd or i am gonna kill myself rn. OI OI OI Gilbert is alive omfg (yup I just made a little research on the net) and he was supposed to finally meet Violet in the anime BUT THIS DJDNEKDBDJ OF MOVIE’S DIRECTOR HAS REPLACE GILBERT WITH HIS OLDER BROTHER WHAT THE HEEEEEEEECK don’t tell me they are gonna make him die in the anime O.O omg I wanna see the 2nd season so muchhhhh
I’m wondering, did Sada ever loved Mamyia ? he sure cared for him, but as much as I’d like for it to be the case I don’t think he loved Mamiya… and that’s making me even more sad
anyway this was truly a masterpiece. Mamiya’s despair at the end, facing the death of the one he loved… it broke me so bad ╥﹏╥
I don't think he romantically loved Mamiya. He has a complex feelings toward Mamiya and developed a certain affection for him. Maybe it came with Stockholm syndrome or out of necessity but love is far fetched for them.
Pretty sure a little bit of all of it. I think in his way he did love Mamiya. Why they found each other in the afterlife. I think his previous love and the relationships around him deadened his idea if love and relationships. It wasn't a grand passion, but a calm love. One that might not have happened at all but came together due to circumstances. Mamiya probably always had feelings for Sada, but due to the rape and torture he endured in high school would never be a grand passion. I would like to believe they both truly loved each other. Being exactly what they both needed to heal.
