Some may not like it because it show how cold Hayden and Brett relationship really are, but for me. I love some slowburn romance. And their distance in this chapter feel realistic since their just get to know eachother.
I think Brett stop contact Hayden for month not only for his football season but also to give him and Hayden time to rethink this relationship.
